I miss Godoggo so much as well. She was really one of my closest friends on here, one of those people I could tell anything to without being judged. I miss just having her around. I don't like to think about what might have happened to her, thinking about the worst case scenario gives me a little bit of anxiety.
As much as it sucks if she did, I hope - all things considered - she simply decided to leave the forum, and that she's out there somewhere doing alright. That's all I ask. It bugs me not knowing. If I knew she was okay and this was simply a decision she made to leave, I could work to move on.

It could be one of many things or a combination of them
I have slightly high blood pressure.. so it could be any form of salt in something I ate today.. (I had popcorn at the cinema, no butter)
It could be allergy related
It could be from the cinema... dark theatre going into sunlight, action film - adrenaline...
It could be an actual migraine.. I had them in the past...

a bit better.. still have pain farther back, more behind my eye..
it might just be vision problems... then again.. the effect of the cinema might not have helped it.. I sat in the 6th or 7th row center.. so I was looking more upward..
Normally I sit the 12th to 15th row up .. on the right side..
(I do have vision problems when watching film, thats why I have to sit in a certain area)

Nope, just normal cinema..... it could be other things with it.... most of the time I was sitting up close .. just that I enjoyed that one more than most of the Marvel "Avenger" films (Iron Man, Captain American, Thor, etc)....
what I mean by sitting up.. is "edge of the seat" type sitting.

Is there a "Let's Get Drunk!" thread or something like that? Something where we could ALL get drunk together. Those of us of legal drinking age, of course. Like a drinking game or something. I know there's been threads with myself getting drunk off tequila and Budweiser, but, I was thinking more about something everyone could participate in. I'm trying to think of a new thread at the moment.

Have you seen CHAINSAW 2 yet?
I have seen the first like, 20 minutes - I recall telling you about it - but never finished it. I had a lot of fun with what I saw, so figured I could "partially blind buy" it without worrying too much. As long as it's goofy, over the top, ridiculous fun, which is my impression based on what I have heard, I don't think I'll be too disappointed. We'll see. I'm not expecting the same kind of movie the first is.
In any case, I need to see the sequels, even if none of them are any good. I'm excited for the first sequel but the rest look like garbage, if I'm being completely honest. But who knows.

I haven't watched CHAINSAW 3 in a long time. I've been meaning to... but yeah, it's all downhill after PART 2.
Part 2 has the same characters as the first. Part 3 onwards always has Leatherface with a totally different family.
3 and 4 are worth seeing -- 4 because Matthew McConaughey is basically the lead killer after Leatherface... who, in my memory, didn't actually kill anyone in that. They made him more of a transvestite in that one. In 2 and 3, he's more of a big redneck Bubba type character.
Do they explain why he's in a different family in the third and fourth ones?
Sexy Celebrity

Do they explain why he's in a different family in the third and fourth ones?
There's really no reason except they made it that way. I believe 3 was intended to just be a "reinterpretation" or basically a remake of the first film... in a 1989 kind of way......
I loved 3 when I was a kid... I still think of it fondly, but I never watch it. I feel it has a slow, draggy start. It's about this... brother and sister, I think they were, who are driving a car to California to deliver it to someone... (???) ... they basically drive into Leatherface's woods. He has a much bigger family. Viggo Mortensen is actually one of the family members. There's a woman in a wheelchair who talks out of a hole in her throat... there's a little blonde girl who plays with a creepy little corpse doll....
It has a very trashy, heavy metal kind of edge to it. It's the best of the sequels after 2. But it was the beginning of the end for Leatherface, in my opinion.

What I remember about His Name was Jason was the story the woman who played Alice (from parts 1 & 2) told -- she had a stalker because of the films and it traumatized her.

Hated it when I saw it at the movies.... tried to watch it again on TV some time later, and just had to turn it off. I feel deeply matured knowing the fact that I didn't buy that remake on Blu-ray just to be a completist. It helps knowing that Wes Craven hates it and I think has never watched it.

Well, Google it if you wanna know exactly, but basically, from what I remember hearing... they didn't ask him to be involved and I think it upsets him that it made a lot of money... and apparently he didn't get a lot of money from Nightmare on Elm Street. Though, I heard he later got more money from it.
I don't know. I think I also heard once that he thought about doing a Nightmare on Elm Street prequel, but then they went ahead with the remake and that killed that possibility. I'm not so sure if that's legit, though.
I heard Robert Englund was very excited about it, but I swear I once saw a picture of him holding a piece of paper that said something like, "The 2010 Remake Sucked." One of those selfie kind of pictures where you're holding a piece of paper. So apparently, he doesn't like it, either.

I don't know who could replace Englund, though. He has a lot of personality, in his face, his voice, and his overall persona.
The best they can do is to totally reinvent him. Which I think is what they had in mind for the remake, but instead of getting someone who also had an interesting personality, they made a rather boring Freddy.

I recently watched two of Clive Barker's early films (student films, really) -- Salome and The Forbidden.
Didn't really like them. The Forbidden had a lot of thematic stuff from the first two Hellraiser movies, which was interesting, but I ultimately didn't enjoy them. I got rid of the DVD. Which was a shame because there was this totally weird, kinky, sexual, S&M-like introduction that began the movie featuring lesbian vampires that I thought was hilarious and far better than Clive Barker's stuff.

Pinhead dies for good by committing suicide.
