I agree, dude. Although I do like Tyler's Goblin and I think it had some good tracks (She, Nightmare, Yonkers) I do think that he's mostly famous for his personality. As for Earl, both his albums were excellent in my opinion. Musically, he's way better than Tyler.

My #1 member will always be Frank though, Frank is bae <3

I ordered the Quran yesterday. Since I'm living in my cabin right now I had it shipped to my Catholic grandma's house.

I hope she opens it and thinks I'm becoming a Muslim. That would be great.

I've read the Ramayana, one of the main Hindu texts. I think that's it. Though I have read a bit of the Bible and Tao Te Ching.

I've read like quotes from the Bible. I don't really know much about religion but I'd like to learn more I think. But anyway, which ones did you like or at least thought were interesting?

Which religions? I'm interested in all religions I guess, but I'm most interested in Eastern religions. Hinduism is possibly my favorite, because I love the art and creativity. I would say Buddhism is, but I consider that more of a philosophy than a religion (same with Taoism).

I have a conflicted relationship with Abrahamic religions, namely Christianity. I was raised Catholic and think it did a lot of bad and some good for me. I sometimes think my anxiety can be partly traced back to the anxiety I felt from worrying about sinning and Armageddon.

The thing is, on one hand, religion can be so peaceful and good-hearted and moral, and then be so evil and hateful. That's part of what is so fascinating about it to me. There are some great religious people who focus on the good qualities of religion and use it to try and be a better person, and then you have people who use it to spread hate and intolerance.

I'm kind of ashamed to say I don't know anything about Hinduism or Buddhism or any religion for that matter. I need to change that. Whereas you're interested in learning about different religions, I've always been interested in reading about theories such as nihilism, skepticism and existentialism. I really would like to change that though. I've always rejected the idea of religion but recently I've been thinking that I don't understand how I can reject something I know almost nothing about.

I am a nihilist in theory (though becoming an absurdist) and a big skeptic. :)
