Its impossible to make the Eiffel Tower with puppet heads.

But it's entirely possible to make a penis with them.

It's not a terrible idea, but probably not, though I can think of a few who'd probably go for it. I don't think there'd be the participation that there was for the Mofies, though.

Godoggo
01-13-15, 10:44 PM
Not to be a party pooper, but I'd ask not to be nominated for a Razzie type MoFies and I wouldn't nominate anyone. There are some categories that might be fun, but it would hurt my feelings to be nominated for most boring mofo.

I think if your going to do something like that, make sure that people are ok to be nominated. I don't think it's a bad for people who want to participate, but I'd be careful about hurt feelings.

Anyway, I ate meat today. I couldn't help myself. I went to my boyfriend's mom's house for lunch and she had made this marinated pork with yellow rice, black beans and homemade tortillas. She had out aside some rice before she added the pork to it, but that marinade smelled so good and the pork was so tender. It was delicious. Absolutely delicious. Sorry Babe.

Just checked the movie times for my local theater on Friday, and Whiplash, Foxcatcher, AND a rerelease of Birdman are coming to the theater. Add in that I can now see Selma and I ordered my IMAX tickets for American Sniper and I should finally be able feel comfortable making my best of 2014 list.

And since we will now get into the rest of the January / February line up, that also means a big dry spell in my cinema visits.

Why do people assume a film is exactly what it says on IMDB?... first off... Yeah "Vase de Noces" is a controversial film but I want to say.. there are no scenes that show exactly what the movie describes.... there is only the understanding that it took place.... The movie is full of different emotions that humans and animals show.

I got the same treatment over "Cannibal".... people just need to watch it and get the understanding themselves and stop relying on what others say.... I wasnt mad that people who did watch "Cannibal" hated it... I was mad over listening to another critics opinion over the film and comparing it to a film that was nothing like "Cannibal"...

Each individual here has a different style of film they like.. I respect that... I understand that some dont like extreme films or some dont like horror at all.. Heck I cant stand American comedies... but I dont criticize that person for enjoying them....

Never give a film a rating based off someone's opinion... its best to watch it yourself... then make up your mind.

No, because to me it never gave me a difference in recovery time. Basically the difference between 1 week and 7 days. And it costs quite a lot.

Bought some medicine and gulped it down, and so far its working pretty well. I've gotten out of the 39 degrees range and it keeps going down slow and steady. The headache is calming down too, but the throat has yet to become smooth.

Been a weird day. My grandma died this morning. My medications are out of whack.

We went down to her house earlier today to be with family. I felt I could power through my brain problems and be there for them. I lasted an hour then had to go back home. Then slept pretty much the rest of the day until now.

At first it was so hard to see her sick and dying in the hospital, but I almost feel like grandma purposefully waited to die so we could prepare ourselves and come to grips with it. I know she actually had no say in the matter, but that's just what it feels like. But - well, I hope she's at peace now. It sucked seeing her with cancer and losing her mind and everything. It just sucked.

Anyway, on to better news. My piano teacher introduced me to this kid who's also a big horror fan and actually has similar mental problems to me. He's actually a speaker for NAMI. We've been talking via Facebook and he invited me to this NAMI thing he's going to speak at and will introduce me to some people. This is great because I need to find a network and psychiatrist and all that good stuff here.

It's just weird how everything can be calm and then all this big stuff starts happening for a bit, then it goes back to being calm.

One was complaining about the 3 she had...... yeah thats bad service... there was one cook... and that was it... and it was dinner time....

I hate being one of those people who takes a sad event from someone else and tries to force one of their own in as well, but I understand exactly where you are coming from.

My grandmother died almost...5 years ago now. She was in her late 70's, getting some early stages of Alzheimer's and it wasn't nice to see. She'd leave her apartment and then the cops would pick her up because she couldn't get back home. One day she packed all her stuff and showed up at our door expecting to move in. She eventually did live with us for a bit, but then we had to put her in a home. She hated it. Cried, asking why we are leaving her there and tried to escape a bunch of times (which made me laugh, which was nice). Then things got worse. She was no longer responsive, eyes closed, lying in bed screaming out for Robert, her brother who died in WWII at Diepp. Repeated his name over and over and nothing else. Screaming it. We all came in to say our good byes after we got a call from the home saying it wouldn't be long.

My mother stayed with her all night, she was still calling for her brother. My mom decided to leave sometime around 7:00 in the morning...we got a call saying she died at 8:00. My mom is convinced somehow that my grandmother waited until she left before passing on...I don't know.

I guess I'm trying to express my heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I always ask myself if it is better to see someone get sick before dying, or dying suddenly. On one hand you get to say your good-byes, but you see their pain. On the other, it can be quick and without the pain, but you never get your chance to say good bye. I hope you had numerous chances and took them each time. My biggest regret I have is not asking my grandmother more about her life, her brothers during the war and everything else.

So for those with grandparents still around, do yourself a favour and ask about their life. you'll be thankful you did.

And I'll sadly admit I can somewhat enjoy the second

Ooh, we go our separate ways there. One of my worst theater experiences ever.

I like that one a bit, not as much as others, but I think its fine. Cruise killed me in it.

Thanks for sharing your story man. Sorry you and your family had to grow through all that. It's definitely hard either way, I think. But maybe harder to see their pain...

I love Criterion, but they've released plenty of crap.
The best thing about Criterion is the packaging, especially with Blu Ray. I wish all Blu Rays were packaged in boxes and cases like the way Criterion does it.

Yeah I can probably do it. How disturbing is the movie though?
