That's adorable. I was at the pet store yesterday getting stuff for my rabbits, and I was looking at some of the Halloween costumes that they have for dogs. Some of them are very cute, but I'd bet that the dogs hate them. My favorite was one that looked like a horse with a little rider that sits on the dog's back.

That's basically the same thing as the costume my short haired kitty is wearing. It's a saddle with a cowboy rat on it. He was not pleased and refused to look at the camera.

I've never seen any that detailed. I've seen lots of saddles with riders but not like that. I pity the poor animal that gets stuck wearing it.

Well I know she itches her ears a lot. Everytime we take her they don't say much about it though. We are going to a different vet the next time for her checkup.

The two most common things that make a dog's ear itch are mites or a yeast infection. Yeast infection is the most common ear malady. Smell your dog's ear. If it has a sort of funky smell,it could very well be a yeast infection. Bunny is prone to them as dogs with long ears can be, but short eared dogs can get them too. They are easy to treat, but can be aggravating for a dog as they are itchy and uncomfortable.

If it's not medical it can be a change in the house or boredom. Even something as simple as going for a walk in a new place can cheer a dog up. Like if you usually walk in a residential area go to a more business orientated area with different smells and sights. Dogs can get tired of the usual routines like people can.

Also hiding treats and having your dog hunt for them, teaching them new tricks, going somewhere the dog can get a good run or going to a dog park (if you have a social dog) can all help with boredom.

I don't know about dogs, but rabbits can get little fluid sacks in their ears that have to be broken up, Usually a good ear rub will break them up and the rabbit will feel better within minutes.

Dear MOFO friends. I had an emergency last Thursday night and had to go to the hospital, but things are okay now. But for four days I had no movies to watch and was going through severe withdrawal pains. My movie 'jones'.

I'm glad to hear that you're out of the hospital. I hope it wasn't too serious, and that you're feeling better now. Hopefully the worst thing that came out of your hospital stay was just a few days of missing movies and MoFo.

Thanks for your kind thoughts everyone. I do feel a lot more healthy. To pick my spirits up for Halloween I just might start a marathon of Universal's Monster films. The best Halloween story I know about a horror flick is when The Night of The Living Dead was first released back in 1968. I was in the Army at the time and stationed at FT. Bliss Texas. A friend paid me $20.00 to take his guard duty at an ammo dump out in the middle of the desert at night after he had seen it because he was so scared. It was solitary and lonely but no Zombies. :D:drevil::devil::eek:

I had a guy run up to me this morning screaming that he got robbed, told the cops 3 different stories about why a skinny white guy in his 30's who says he lives on the South side is doing in on the North side and staying in a hotel while on the streets of the damn ghetto at 3 in the damn morning and won't give out his real name. Needless to say the guy is a junkie looking for a fix, and he got pissed at the cops, the paramedics for not believing his story. Then I had to call him out on his BS when he insisted I baby sit him since he was scared to be alone and had to tell him to leave campus unless he wanted to be arrested for trespassing.

For the record, I work at a HBC (Historically Black College). There are very few white people who go to this college. And there are only two skinny white guys walking around here. One is a student and on the track team but he was in his room for curfew. The other one is me, and I walk around at night with a HK 9mm on my damn hip.

No. I had one interested in me and more then a few flirtations, but I will not do so on campus for several reasons.

1. I am a professional. And I will not date someone who I have to look after on site. That creates a conflict of interest and with some of the students being up to no good, could lead to a bad situation.

2. I just turned 29. These are college students and I sure as hell am not dating someone who can't buy their own booze.

3. This is a temporary job until I get into the police academy. So anything started here is not going to lead to anything meaningful. And I won't do a fling for the first two reasons above.
