Inside Out

I heard so much that this is such an emotional movie and that is not because of the characters. The only time I cared was the bing bong final scene. I didn't mind the movie but I didn't really care about anyone and what happened to them. Joy was obnoxious, Sadness was a deadbeat, fear was annoying, anger and disgust were the only 2 that I thought were funny. I don't know if I am an emotionless because of this or it genuinely wasn't worth the hype. I enjoy Big Hero 6 much more than this because Baymax I felt for a whole lot more. Personally I don't think this should have one the academy award and though When Marnie Was There should have.

Tonight's movie is...

A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001)

Never seen this movie before. All I know about it is that Haley Joel Osment is an android, and Jude Law gets involved.

30 minutes into right now, actually, and I'm having such confusing thoughts about this movie.

Osment's character is so unsettling. Is he meant to be like that? To show us why humans may not like Mechas in this world? That slow gaze at Monica through the glass door... Chills. The first 20 minutes of this movie could easily be the setup for a horror/thriller flick. I thought the creepiness would end when she said the code words, or whatever that was, and he began to love. But then he answered the phone. Whaaaat in the holy hell was that?


One thing I didn't expect from this movie was a walking, talking Teddy Bear. So far, the bear's my favourite character.
