That will leave me time to watch 1 or 2 of the following-
How to Train Your Dragon 2
Despicable Me
Over the Hedge
Wolf Children
From Up on Poppy Hill
Chicken Run
Cowboy Bebop
Shrek
I think Dragon 2 is a definite watch, and I'm leaning towards Despicable Me or Over the Hedge if I have time for another.
Poppy Hill is my favorite Ghibli so far, and I have probably watched everything you have watched the last couple months. Not trying to make you decision tough or anything.:D

Over the Hedge would be my suggestion.

He's the best thing about that movie. Otherwise I didn't really care for it. I know they tried to add in some of Lincoln's darkness, but I still left feeling like they made him out to be more god than man. Especially in the camerawork.

I saw it, maybe 2 years ago! My roommate loves it, my personal opinion is that i love the soundtrack more than the actual movie. The subject matter os rather disturbing as it deals with the depression of a war veteran. As a B-movie its ok, i rate it 2.5

It's supposed to be very good, but I think it's also about 4 hours long. IMO, that's just too long for a movie. I have a tendency to "zone out" every once in a while when a movie is that long, and then I have to keep rewinding to find out what I missed.
I think all movies should be between 1-1/2 to 2 hours long.

IMDB shows different versions ranging from 192 min to 320 min for the director's cut. I borrowed the DVD from my father-in-law, but I haven't looked at it yet. (I hope it's not the director's cut.)
The cover matches this one, and according to Amazon, it's 246 minutes long.

320 minutes! OMG that would be a 5 1/2 hour movie, nope I don't think I'd be watching that. I learned the other day that 20th Century Fox was just about bankrupted by Cleopatra which went way over budget and was costly to make...and by the the failed Marilyn Monroe film, Something Has Got to Give.....That film was ultimately shelved and made latter with Doris Day as Move Over Darling.

Never got more than 30-40 minutes into Night of the Living Dead though. It was just a black dude and a mute woman walking around a house putting up planks. I was too effing tired to follow it any longer, but some day I'll have to finish it I guess...
Barbara is a terribly written and terribly acted character. The rest of the movie is so good despite her, though, so much that I'm almost willing to overlook her in her entirety. The rest of the film, likewise, gets a lot better.

If the novella is anything like the movie, it might be a good read.
The Three Lives of Thomasina is a Disney film so that's kind of the vibe I expected from it. But it had some more complex personal relationship issues going on. I think it's a better film than what many might expect.

In one scene the little girl with a very serious face tells her dad he is dead to her.
In another scene the dad almost becomes violent with Susan Hampshire 'the good witch'. I thought both scenes were too strong for a Disney film. What did you think?

I agree that both scenes were a bit too strong for a Disney movie, but they were both powerful scenes, and necessary to the story.
The little girl saying that her father is dead to her shows how much she loved the cat, and how angry she is at her father. To him, what he did was no big deal, but to her, that cat was her best friend. It's important to show how heartless he is towards the animals.
And the scene with the father getting "violently" mad at the "witch" also shows his personality. He has lost faith in God, and he is angry at the world. In contrast, the "witch" is the person who has faith. She believes that if she's not afraid of the animals, they won't hurt her, and she also believes that God brought the father to her to help the injured animal.
His character is all about the lack of faith, and her character is all about having faith.
For a Disney movie, it had a fairly religious theme.
You can have faith in more than religion. :)

Yes, but something made me think that this movie was about his losing his faith in God. I don't remember if it was something specific that was said, or just a feeling that I got while watching the movie.

I sat down to watch Plein Soleil aka Purple Noon (1960) for the 5th HOF, but I decided to read a little bit about it before watching it, just to find out what it's about, and I found out that it's based on the novel "The Talented Mr. Ripley".
Then I remembered that there was a movie called The Talented Mr. Ripley starring Matt Damon, and it turns out that the 1999 remake is based on the same book.
I checked my shelf, and sure enough, I have the DVD of the Matt Damon movie The Talented Mr. Ripley, so I decided to watch that first, and then follow it up with the movie Plein Soleil aka Purple Noon (1960).

So far so good on that front - car chase was a tad frenetic but nowhere near the extreme of shot changes as in End Of Watch. Appreciate the warning though.

How are you feeling? I mean, what kind of movie you feel like watching? Do you want something to produce some kind of feeling?

The following are all in my current top 100:
Metropolis (in my top 10)
Wild Strawberries (my favorite Bergman film)
Good Will Hunting (my favorite film featuring Robin Williams, my review of which can be found here (http://brianjhadsell.blogspot.com/2014/08/unreality-companion-good-will-hunting.html))
Lincoln
X-Men: Days of Future Past (my favorite X-Man film and second favorite film from this year, my full review of which can be found here (http://unrealitymag.com/index.php/2014/10/17/days-of-future-awesome/))
And, although not in my top 100, I still have to make special mention of Hellraiser, which started off what is easily my favorite horror franchise (it, Hellbound: Hellraiser II, Hellraiser III and Hellraiser Revelations are all fantastic, and Hellraiser: Bloodlines at least has a lot of awesome Pinhead moments).
