There should be a movie where everyone finds out Fassbender was in a movie in the 70's directed by Fassbinder.
But at the end they find out it's a grown up Fassbender in the movie. He must have time traveled. :mnight:

I hope you see the version in English because I've seen that and the one with the leads dubbed into Italian, and the latter is very awkward. It's much better to have a few supporting players dubbed than the leads.

Yes, I did. I watched the English criterion version.
I liked the film. Ingrid Bergman always knows how to make me fall in love with her in every single film she's in. That scene where she's waiting in her room at night, lying in the sofa, longing for her husband to send at least one single sign of tenderness after he finally came home after going away for two days... So powerful!

Both are strong rating_4s and in my favourite spaghetti top 10. There is an alternative ending to The Great Silence, but it blows. It was made for Arabian watchers, because they

Inferno (1980)
Looks like it's a night for 1980. That's an interesting coincidence. I've seen a similar themed movie to Cannibal Holocaust before, about a woman and a few of her friends who travel to the jungle to try and prove there are no more cannibal tribes in existence. I can't remember what it was called though. I'm looking forward to the infamy of Cannibal Holocaust. Same goes for Argento's Inferno. I've seen Suspiria and I didn't really like it. But I really want to see what Argento's other work is like. I actually forked out $35 plus tax for this British copy that comes with a butt load of DvD features. It's fully uncut, and there's a poster too. I haven't even opened it yet. I'm pretty excited. Alright... here goes...

Good morning england.
A 2009 movie directed by Richard Curtis. This is a mix between comedy and romance. This is the story of a clueless teenager who has just been expelled from school. His mother sends him to his godfather whom happens to be the boss of Radio Rock; a pirate radio station which broadcasts from a boat. This thread is inspired by actual facts as the Rock was highly criticized in England back in the years. It was considered as dirty music that advocated sex and drugs. Some radio channels isolated themselves outside the English territory where the law forbade it to override the court. This story is touching and filled with British humor (which I love) I recommend it!

I don't think the director was going for realism, and in my opinion, those girls actually died that night. It's just that they aim so well and kill everyone and survive at impossible and unrealistic odds because that's the way that today's youth thinks. What you see in the film, is imo, what the girls think is going to happen. They think they are invincible and can go through everything and that's how it's portrayed. At least, that's my opinion on the film.

Targets (Peter Bogdanovich, 1968) 3
http://i30.photobucket.com/albums/c310/chugs1124/various%20pics/B00009RXKC.jpg
This is first and foremost a solid low-budget flick which attempts to discuss the connection between cinematic and true-life horrors, but even more importantly, it's a love poem to cinema in general and Boris Karloff specifically. Bogdanovich's debut tells two stories which intersect at the beginning and the ending. What initially appears to be the more important one involves aging B-movie star Byron Orlok (Karloff, basically playing himself in a wonderful performance) who feels outdated and doesn't want to make any more schlock, even though his current director (Bogdanovich) has fashioned an artistic script for him to work on next. The other story involves a young married man named Bobby (Tim O'Kelly) who lives with his wife at his parents' home. He and his father are gun aficianados, but Bobby seems to be undergoing some changes within himself which he's unable to communicate with his loved ones.
http://www.reverseshot.com/files/images/pre-issue22/targets.preview.jpg
Budgeted at $130,000 and apparently featuring an assist to Bogdanovich's good screenplay from none other than Samuel Fuller (I've never seen it on DVD, but I've gleaned this info), Targets is often an arresting film, especially due to cinematographer László Kovács' Hitchcockian technique (lots of spooky subjective camerawork) and a super bit of sound editing by Verna Fields. The scenes where Bobby goes psycho (all three of them) are handled chillingly and easily compensate for any amateurish performances along the way. The use of Roger Corman's borderline camp classic The Terror (which stars Karloff, but also Jack Nicholson and Dick Miller) is also a great way to get those of us who love Karloff, oldtime horror and Roger Corman to totally buy into the film. I would love to hear what others think of Targets, a film which really attempts to do something unique and mostly accomplishes it. It also seems to make even more sense today than it did 40 years ago.
Im off to see Guardians of the Galaxy later with my wife and kids

Nosferatu (1922)
Directed by F.W. Murnau, I've heard a lot about this old black and white silent classic. In the past I wasn't ready to watch it because I hadn't developed my appreciation for films quite this old. Watching more films from the 40's and 30's has gotten me interested in the 20's, and I loved The Passion of Joan of Arc and consider it to be the greatest film I've seen. So now there are quite a few 20's films that I want to see, and Nosferatu is certainly one of them. I'm pleased to say I've just picked up a copy of it, and I plan on watching it tonight with a few beers. :D

Siegfried (1924)
So I'm actually already half an hour into it and so far it's pretty cool. A young prince forges a masterpiece sword and sets off on a journey to win a princess. Along the way he slays a dragon. It's full of classic mythology and directed by Fritz Lang. It's my first Fritz Lang film. I suppose the first thing I've noticed is the music doesn't really seem as good at setting the mood as other silent films I've seen so far. Other than though I can tell this is going to be a really terrific movie, and the sequel as well.

Jurassic Park (1993)
It's been so long since I've seen this that I can't even remember if Batman and Robin survive. Doesn't Robin get eaten in a bathroom stall? I seem to remember something along those lines.
Na, but seriously. It has been like... I dunno almost ten years. I remember liking it quite a bit, but I'm not sure if I'm going to include it in my top 150, so I'm re-watching it. I must have watched it half a dozen times as a kid though.

The Fly (1986)
Another one I haven't seen in a very long time, but this one has been over ten years. Cronenberg won't let me down like that Spielberg guy did!
