I first stumbled across the first film "found." at a video-store over half a decade ago. It's a coming-of-age horror about a young man whose brother is a serial-killer. I would recommend it to genre fans.

The second film is a sort-of / kind-of sequel, except it's not about the brothers but a feature-length film about a videotape they watched at one point in the other film. This one's more like a straightforward, harsh slasher film. I am re-watching it, but I didn't enjoy this film the first time around.

The Color Out of Space. I have to watch the whole thing. I watched it in halves last week, and it's such a jumble of ham acting, general strangeness and Nick Cage (at his most excessive) that I have to watch the whole thing in one fell swoop. I'm thinking that it might be a contender for a rival to Plan 9. Nobody really knows how to film Lovecraft, especially in this one. How do you make a movie out of a color? Especially a color that nobody has seen before. I don't think you will find out here.

If I go into those links, I get a 403 Forrbidden error.

If you use IMDB and click through, you'll sooner or later end up on an Amazon image. Those stay around a long time.
