I'm watching Daredevil and I'm trying my best not to hate it but I absolutely do hate it. It is my belief that this show is not only a failed attempt at a dark and gritty superhero show in a world that is bright and comic bookie, but I believe it fails as a crime drama as well. It's horrible.

Im a Daniel Craig James Bond fan... and out of the three films I like Le Chiffe the best for the villains.

Also, I love Mads' character in The Salvation... I just feel he was a true to heart character.. a man who loved his wife and son.. and went to any length to seek revenge.

Interested to see how this ends up being. Cars 2, Monsters University, and Brave were all big disappointments for me. Fingers crossed this isn't a repeat of those experiences.

Suddenly, he noticed a flash of crimson red, with helicopters in the background.

Meh, another generic war film I bet, he thought.

But then he decided to take a closer look. He was instantly shocked when he realized the film was none other than the legendary Apocalypse Now, only showing in selected theaters for a week.

Gatsby needs to drive nearly an hour to get to the nearest theatre screening the film, but he knew it's totally worth it. F*ck Jurassic World. This is going to be a great day.

This story begins with Gatsby buying tickets for Jurassic World on a website.

Suddenly, he noticed a flash of crimson red, with helicopters in the background.

Meh, another generic war film I bet, he thought.

But then he decided to take a closer look. He was instantly shocked when he realized the film was none other than the legendary Apocalypse Now, only showing in selected theaters for a week.

Gatsby needs to drive nearly an hour to get to the nearest theatre screening the film, but he knew it's totally worth it. F*ck Jurassic World. This is going to be a great day.

Spider-Man 2 - Sam Raimi's spider sequel is, in my humble opinion, the best super-hero film ever made. Tobey MacGuire is a perfect everyman hero, and Alfred Molina shines as Doctor Octopus. I almost am hesitant to call him a villain, he's far too sympathetic for that. The film is shot in inventive ways (the operating room scene is a work of genius), and seems like it well could be one of those great Stan Lee/Steve Ditko Spidey yarns from the character's heyday. Marvel Studios would do well to offer Raimi another directing gig in the future.

I maybe would like to do a top whatever comic book flicks list sometime in the future. This would top it, I think.
