I'm going to finish watching Babel. In the first half of what I've seen, it does darg a bit, but it's very emotionally sincere and the always reliable Brad Pitt is solid.
I tried to watch Babel once...it bored the crap out of me and I turned it off after about 25 minutes.

Damn, that's pretty crazy man, considering you are a movie fan and all. Though I'm not really a crazy cinema-goer myself, although my yearly count is probably your life-count hah. :p ... 5-6 movies a year sounds about right - before I started to go to press screenings obviously, but those feel more like you rented a cinema or something, since it's not full of douchebags and people who eat their popcorn with their mouths open.

When I watch a film on my TV and turn off the lights I sometimes feel like it's cinema. The screen is a dozen times smaller, but at least I don't have to cope with popcorn eaters and chatters.

Look out for hilarious and cheesy announcements from Karloff and utterly mad balls kitsch ending. The telephone story was kinda creepy, actually. And the second one was deliciously cheap. And the last one was freakin' epic starring Karloff in his favourite gothic horror environment goin' berserk! Haha. Maybe I'm exaggerating a little bit, but this film is class. No doubt a 4 experience!

It must've been your post that got it in my mind. I just read his review too; it sounds real good. Those two actresses together make it a must see for me. I never cared anything about Keira Knightley until about 6 months ago when she completely won me over. I don't think I've seen Carey Mulligan in anything else, but she reminds me a lot of Michelle Williams back when she was on "Dawson's Creek".

I'm already 25 minutes into it and it's great so far. He goes to the cinema to watch Sonny Chiba triple feature and later on he watches Better Tomorrow II on TV. If it wasn't written by Tarantino I'd be the worst mindf*ck yet.
