That player (Suarez) bit someone during a match today, hence the vampire joke. I didn't know that. I don't watch football. :)
Im not a football fan either and heard about this via fb and I believe its his 3rd offence, shocking behaviour as professional and a human. He should be banned and some sort of hannibal lecter mask.

I'm indecisive tonight.
MoFos help me choose!
We're getting down to the wire on the 70s list deadline and I'm very far behind on my watching.
Here's what I'm considering for tonight:
Get Carter (1971)
Mad Max (1979) - technically a rewatch, but it's been many years
American Graffiti (1973)
Picnic at Hanging Rock (1975)

Because I like it and because it's got Mel Gibson and I'm sure you're already aboard the anti-Mel Gibson train.
I'm not a fan of Mel Gibson but I don't hate him or anything. I really liked Beyond Thunderdome when I was a kid and vaguely remember liking the original Mad Max as well, so I might enjoy it now.
Get Carter, because I'm watching it. :) But they should all be good.

Have seen and very much enjoyed both of those movies.
Ended up watching Mad Max. I liked it, but didn't love it. I do like it more than some of the stuff on the tail end of the rough draft of my list, so it might make it yet. And after watching it, I actually don't think I've ever seen it before. I guess I've only seen the sequels.

It would be a crime if I didn't watch a bit more from Altman before the 70's so I'll be checking this behemoth of a film out. The movie's runtime terrifies me, but hopefully I find it an enjoyable experience.

I was thinking about seeing "Transcendence", but the reviews were kind of mixed. I'm curious to read your review of this movie.

Ok, not a movie, but I haven't seen this for a long time and really feel like some British drama.

Finally giving this a twirl. Huge Lynch fan, just haven't given this one a spin yet, mostly due to it's colossal runtime.
I’m going to watch the 1946 version of Beauty and the Beast then give the Puella Magi TV show a try.

I finished it only a few hours ago!
Didn't seem too long to me for a three hour film. I didn't watch it all in one sitting though so maybe that helped.
