I'm not sure Minio will love it as much as you, as I don't think he is a particularly big fan of gangster films, but here's hoping he surprises me. I definitely like it a lot and think people take it too seriously, thus it gets too much hate. From what I have seen I'd put Blow Out ahead of it, but I love that film.

The '30s Scarface and the '80s Scarface have practically nothing in common. They're completely different movies.

Scarface is far from De Palma's best film, though, in my opinion. It's entertaining, decadent and has a few memorable scenes, but De Palma has made better stuff. I think Minio will agree with me, as he has seen quite a few other De Palma films too, UNLESS he falls in love with Pacino's over the top performance or the exuberant settings.

What i'm wondering is if there's actually a top 100 Kiiller Crocodiles list :p ? The vast majority of that list must be horrible. Even a niche genre that has produced some great films like mafia movies for instance, would be lucky to get by 20 decent flicks imo.

You were right, I enjoyed it a lot :D I know Mark's a fan too as he posted about it, would be cool if it made the 70s list. On a related note, I love the poster for it :p

The pictures are working for you because they're in your computer's cache. For future reference, IMDb images cannot be hotlinked. Also, you might consider putting movie titles in your posts to accompany the images, that way if the pictures you've chosen don't work, people will still be able to see what you're talking about.
