It's really disappointing because I love Scream 2 -- I mean, it was on my Top 10 list as of the other day and still probably is -- I like it better than the first movie -- so Scream 3 should have been an amazing followup.

This cameo makes the movie a lot better because, even though Scream 3 is very flawed, the way the original trilogy is layed out is very Star Wars.

The twist in Scream 2 involved a parent.

It's like Empire Strikes Back where the twist involved Darth Vader being the father, and in Return of the Jedi, it's revealed that Luke and Leia are siblings.

And maybe the killer attacked her there, but her home had all these props and equipment and things.

In Kevin Williamson's Scream 3, the opening scene was supposed to be Sidney and a friend being attacked by Ghostface, with the friend getting killed, and it makes you think Sidney might get killed, but instead she kills the killer, pulls off his mask and it's supposed to be a crazy fan of the Stab movies. This is what makes Sidney decide to live on her own, away from society, until the new killings, being committed by the cult of fans, drives her out of hiding.
