I know. I thought the same thing.
I had jury duty yesterday and they had pots of coffee brewing all day long. The coffee wasn't bad (a tad weak but not bad), but they compromised it with packets of that powdered creamer stuff. I even put the stuff in the bottom of the cup first, hoping that would make it dissolve more completely, then stirred like crazy.
And yet, it still looked so horrible on top -- "stuff" floating around like tiny tea leaves or something. UGH.
Not sure that was much better than instant coffee.
Today, though, it was brewed coffee at home, with liquid hazelnut creamer (sugar-free) and a packet of Splenda. MUCH better.
Im sorry, I just couldnt make a filtered coffee in my machine, please dont judge Ive suffered enough with this instant coffee muk :bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling:: bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling::bawling:

Another one on the "Watch The Soprano's, n3wt" bandwagon. :yup: I'm currently watching it for the first time (on Sky Atlantic) and it's been consistantly good. I'd always heard most people say how good it was, but I have been a little surprised with its constant quality. It doesn't really have (so far, anyway) any dips or off episodes or seasons.
Currently fielding questions from my nephew, who's woke up for too early, about his birthday and what I'm going to buy him, what he wants, etc. Also being shown a load of his toy cars. I notice that a great deal of his newer ones are red.

Enjoy your Sopranos but don't be like me. I start watching that stuff, I do it for 12 hours straight. Took my meds about 3 hours a go and finally, the stuff that would kill a herd of horses, is starting to kick in. Sometimes I wonder if I'm human, ha ha:p

My back pain is out of control. I'm been holding off but now I got to throw Oxycodone into my script coktail. Thiswill be the ultimate test of my overall immune system. If it can fly, I'll be singing, if not, there won't be a need for singing, possibly crying but from me. I'm eating an orange and a banana, homey, everyday. I drink cranberry-rasberry jucise, so I'm taking the necessary stuff to counteract the meds. Will see.

Thanks, you are sweet. The combo seems to be working fine. Heaven't overdosed yet. I work through the pain and push myself when least motivated. Insomnia's the only problem, so when I take the meds at the time I want to knock out, that's the only time I extra dose. If I wasn't taking other stuff to counter act it, I would be six feet under a long time a go. My body's learned to do it's checks and balances, so what would kill most other people only makes me go to sleep and that's when I sleep 12 to 16 hours straight, but, of course I don't do that every day. As a kid, I used to feed off of andrenaline and push myself to the edge and as an adult I still do the same but in different ways. If anything, Ive learned how to adapt and how far I can go. No matter what you do, self-contol is the key.
