This might sound a little bizarre but here I am, having a cup of tea and a wheeze on my morning cigarette when who do I spy but The Former Ireland's Tallest Man (7' 4") walking past my living room window. Carrying 2 bags of shopping and accompanied by his diminutive girlfriend who had, in her hand, a hula hoop. *
"Well, **** me, if it isn't Ireland's Formerly Tallest Man (7' 4") walking past my living room window!" I exclaimed to myself before hobbling across the room to have another look.
You see, Ireland's Formerly Tallest Man (7' 4") is not unknown to me - we used to drink in the same bars is Omagh, years ago. Also not unknown to me is the fact that Mickey is an eejit of proportions equal to his height so I refrained from opening my door and making contact with a fellow exiled Omagh man.
* Now, I say 'former' because the guy claiming now to be Ireland's tallest man is actually 2 inches shorter than my man.

Watching the Vancouver Giants take a 2-1 lead over Medicine Hat in the Memorial Cup final.
Each year the champions from three CHL member leagues; the WHL, the OHL, and the QMJHL, and the host CHL team, compete in the MasterCard Memorial Cup Tournament for the top prize in Junior Men's (Under 21) ice hockey.
The Giants, who of course is my team, are in it cause we are hosting it this year however, they are good enough to be there regardless since we were 1 overtime goal away from winning the WHL title. Ironically, we are playing the same team that beat us just a week ago in that O.T. game. If we win this game, the Vancouver Giants have bragging rights of being the Jr. Canadian team this year.
*Edit*
We won!! Wooooooooohoooooooo!!

On the topic of deviled eggs: I have heard that deviled eggs used with ducks is a wonderful dish, anyone tried it? I am curious.
I can't begin to think why having a duck around would make the deviled eggs taste better. Do the ducks cheer you on or something? Do they have cooking tips I don't know about?

Boo! I can't stand things that were written in the 1800's. I got this book, the Oxford Books of Essays, or something like that, and you have to practically decipher everything they're saying because of their, "tis thee follow hence forth, blah, blah, blah." The book does have some interesting things to say though. There was one about avarice - very awesome.

Pimp, that sounds more like the 1600s than the 1800s! :D
This one's not too bad that way, but the guy uses all British spellings for everything -- and he's from Ohio! That, and he reeeeeeally loves commas.
For now, I'm done with that for the day and now I'm writing a query letter for an article to send to various magazines.

But I am going to get one of a double bow and arrow… and am trying to decide on one in memory of someone who was very special to me….
What have you got 7thson?
By the way, aren't you worried that your tattoos would affect your ability to donate blood?
In my own way, I think I kinda give blood almost everyday… :p but medically wise, they will let me donate again after a year….
Right now I am getting ready to go to work.... (they called me in early.... :( )

I have a combo Leo/Pieces Zodiac symbol on my neck, with gold interior and red exterior, cats and fish mix well..:). I am divorced now from my "fish" but I still think it is a good mix...:modest:

I'll have to think about this because there is a possibility the person behind this invitation might not only be trying to rub salt in a wound they didn't realize had healed but also attempting to open another one since the bride to be is well aware of my existence… and I refuse to be a party to that….

Then later they were playing catch with the football and Ward tells Beaver to go long. Beaver runs and falls on the ground. Ward says to Beaver, " You run like a little....." Beaver says "I run like a what, dad." Ward says, "A little pro Beaver, a little pro." lmao hahahahahaha it was so friggin funny.

Waiting for some clothes to dry. That is very important. One time I put some clothes in the wash and then into the drier and then took them out and all of them were covered in black dots. Some fool, myself, had left a flippin' pen in one of the pockets. DANG IT! Check your effin' pockets.
"The more you know."
You know that episode, I think it was either the first or one of the first episodes...where George and Jerry are at the laundromat and George tells Jerry he will over dry his clothes. Jerry goes on about how you can't over dry clothes - once they are dry, they are dry, like once you are dead - you can't kill a person again. Well I know for a fact that you CAN over dry clothes. If you leave them in too long they will smell like burnt rubber. And I bet it you leave them in even longer they will start a fire - but that is not an experiment I want to try.
So people - Seinfeld is wrong! You CAN over dry.
Also I am doing nothing right now...

Being absolutely stunned.
Last night i went to a barnparty in a village 20 km from my hometown, with some friends from school. These kind of parties are famous in the area: 17 euro entry fee, unlimited drinking. So as you can understand, the 300 guests where all drunk or not far from drunk. Things that are done frequently are things like beerfights: you order 20 beers and throw them at somebody (that's actually quite funny because everybody smells like beer the next day). The downside is that people get drunk. One guy i didnt know was very pissed and came on to a friend of mine, Christopher, and he said that he had to stay away from his girlfiend. But C didnt do anything, he didnt even know the guy and only talked to me and my friends that evening. So in a stupid instant, he wanted the punch him, and i stopped him. That the guy turned around and grabbed me by the neck and punched me in the jaw with his other hand. I fell down and one of his friends jumped on me, slapping my face on the ground. My friends saved me from him.
I'm never going to a barnparty ever again, i never thought guys would actually punch girls to the ground, but hell :bawling: damn, still confused...
