I've had two Jeep Wranglers and loved both of them... but what I'd really like to have is a Hummer... there's no way I can afford one of those though.... I've heard a lot of good things about Honda but several places I have to go through tend to flood so I think a Jeep is more practical for me... :)

Well long story short she caught him in the act of cheating on her and threw a bottle at him. This was 2 weeks ago. He hit her and threw her out on the street. She threatened him multiple times on the internet and he called police. She was told not to go over there by me and police. She would not have done it if she were not drunk. Basically I am pissed at everyone, myself included. She will probably be arrested and this will go on her record for rest of her life.

I have my grandaughter today and just finished fixing her a nice bowl of noodles and a cup of rootbeer. I turned on the TV and sat her down to watch Dora while I went to get my own lunch. When I got back Allison had decided to pour her rootbeer into her noodles and was stiring it up when I walked back in. I could not help but laugh and now she thinks she did a good thing. She did eat most of it though. What a mess.:)

Haha! I don't know what to say first. There's at least one "Ew!" in there. Root beer is nasty enough, but with noodles. I can't believe she ate that. It's funny, but it's impossible at times to not laugh, even though we know it will either encourage them, or make them think we are being mean.

To be honest, and I don't know if this is a coincidence or not, but I'm generally in more pain when the weather is damp, suggesting a bit of arthritis has set in. That's just day to day stuff though, what happened recently is a disc or two popping out and that happens every so often. It's really just a matter of sitting it out or, like this fool here, trying to drive to the store yesterday morning because he couldn't immediately raise someone on the phone.

Actually SPAM can be limited to only one post… or one signature… and considering the fact you posted a thread that contained links to illegal movie downloads... and then made sure you drew attention to your signature… well, even you should understand it was only natural those actions would send off red flags... hopefully that's not why you're here though because there's a great group of people on MoFo who are well worth getting to know...

Looking up the places I remember from my childhood in germany on Google Earth. Found my old house, my old school, the nearest NAAFI (I was an army brat, living in/near the Rheindahlen Military Complex in Monchengladbach, Germany), and the park my mum used to walk us round in Winter.

Almost bringing a lump to my throat, even from above everything looks the same, after 13 years. It's a shame, the place is being broken up in 2012, I'd love to go out there and photograph as much as I can, probably with my older sis.

Being incredibly stupid.

It's about 5:00 in the morning local time. At 5:45pm I have an exam that I have done little to no study for, and I still have to get some sleep, which is unlikely because I gave my parents express permission to wake me up at 9:00. Provided I go to bed now, I still only get about 3 and a half hours' worth of sleep. Not much to do last-minute study and an entire exam on.

Still, at least it's the last exam I have left. Then I can go home and collapse. Or not. I know what I'm like.

Pretty good thanks. I can actually surf between phone calls, but sometimes I do not get much time. Right now I am working 4 10 hourd days so I get 3 days off. Well off from here anyway.:)

Here's a prime example of how stupid I am...

Went to the fridge about half an hour ago and the light wasn't on. Checked the bulb, which was fine. Checked the fuse, which was fine. Then checked the entire ring main for the kitchen sockets, which was fine.

Baring in mind that it's 11pm, the fridge is older than the eldest Tatette and is full of stuff I did what most sane people do - I walloped it round the kidneys a few times and hit it a kick (this has worked in the past ;)) but still to no avail. The thing was deader than John Lennon.

It was only after checking my meagre bank balance online and looking at a few fridge-freezers on the Currys website that I remembered I had earlier been cleaning further along the kitchen worktop.

Cleaning beside the main switch which controls the cooker, washing machine......and the fridge. It wasn't on. :blush:

It's a sad day when the bulb in the fridge is brighter than the berk who opens the door. :D
