Yep, 36% or something, and after a remark it went down a point or two. :D

Now, it wasn't all down to me being a dunderhead because we had an awful teacher - Even the class swat only managed a B and she had got nothing lower than A's all through school. No one else got above a C in that class and the teacher in question never taught A Level English again.

Nice woman, but completely inept. Like most inept teachers, she stayed at the school for years only didn't teach anything more dangerous than GCSE RE - My youngest cousin had her a few years ago (think she's retired now) and she was apparently as disorganised as ever.

But, I can't wholly blame her either. I was an opinionated little sod back then who was resting on his laurels after getting one of the top 5 GCSE Eng Lit coursework marks in the country, or something.

It's been downhill ever since. ;D

Mightn't make much of a difference anyway. Stuff like Halo 3 actually loads quicker from the disc because it was (really well) designed before you could install games.

I havent got any games on my HDD we only have a low gig one that came with my old console. We also have some sort of internal memory card :shrug: but I dont know where it is on the console and we havent used it either :laugh:

I think it's a 256MB flash drive stuck on the motherboard somewhere. Buying a bigger HD has always been a problem with those Xboxes because you've got to go with the Microsoft ones (don't think those Chinese copies are much cheaper and I think they won't work at all with the latest firmware) and they're just a standard laptop drive in a plastic box.

My new 360 cost about £20 more (after I traded the old one) than buying a 250GB drive from M$. That's just stupid.

EDIT - If you need more space you can use USB drives now due to a firmware update a few months ago but they're not much use for anything more than saves and small XBL games.

I think we have like 8G left on the HDD its not a very big one and we only use it for saves, themes etc but it does its job :yup: I wouldnt mind getting a bigger HDD though just incase we do decided to start buying the games online rather than getting the discs. We have reported him numerous occassions through the xbox live but he is still able to send him racist horrible messages! He called him a N word, told him he should die and he also told him that he killed his father, its only been a year since he died at its been very hard for him and us all, and he is a glad my father in law has died. Im furious with the little $hit I want to break his neck and the parants need to look out aswell letting thier kid do that over and over again its not fair. He has had one account deleted or he has changed his name on there or something but he is still sending messages to my brother.

Anyone tried those DVD scratch repairers?

I bought one today and set about my beloved Xbox Morrowind GOTY (and even ropey copies are going on eBay for nearly as much as they were when new) and nearly had a heart attack once I saw the result. A scouring pad dipped in grit would have produced the same result...

However, like a good little boy (with steam coming out of his ears at this point) I moved on to the 'polish' stage of the process. It didn't look an awful lot better at the end but, lo and behold, the disc now plays perfectly.

Weird. The DVD isn't even remotely shiny now. :confused:
