And for any fans of Fleetwood, they were exceptional. (although Stevie was a little less mobile than i expected) :(

Being very annoyed. My roommate messed with the netflix account, so now it cannot stream via xbox without his password, which i don't have. So now I need to wait till he gets home to put on netflix. He will then use this as a way to force me to hang out with him til late, which I don't want to do because I have had a very long day at work. I'm very introverted. My social battery is dead, and needs recharging before I can even contemplate "hanging out." I just wanted to relax, maybe have some food and watch Star Trek in silence...is this so hard to understand?

Awesome, you'll love the show. I've seen them several times and they were the last concert I saw in 1996. I once saw them in a triple bill at Foxboro Stadium with Guns 'N' Roses and Faith No More. It was madness.

I'm currently sitting in my truck waiting to deliver some wine.

Called sounds lovecraftian, like "Call of Cthulu"... Could work in the context of a movie/short about one of His cultist followers, a character study of an insane minion seeking to bring on the apocalypse yet who is surprisingly rational in his motivations as we learn more of him/her.... or perhaps it could even be about one of The Great Old One's victims, such as an artist or mathematician who uncovers some terrible non-euclidean realm in their work and is gradually drawn into it...

The short I watched was called VICTIM, which I think is too generic, but anyway it was rather nicely shot albeit not particularly scary, more of a creepy mood piece relying on atmosphere above effects.

No, I have never seen this Autopsy series.

While I could probably watch it and I feel a little curious about it... real dead bodies bother me. Years ago, I found this weird magazine and it had pictures of a person's head decaying in a field, and it bothered me for a long time. I lost God. It was too unreal. The head went from looking normal (but dead) to black and tarry with flies and things surrounding it to a perfect skull. It was the ultimate nightmare fuel. I had some leftover pizza at the time and I could not eat it.

Everyone should see death and decay and morbidity sometime, but not all the time. And maybe not a lot.

It doesnt bother me, I have this curiosity of death and dead bodies etc. I have seen relatives who have passed and it has obviously been horrendous seeing them dead but at the sametime at peace. Its hard to explain.

But seeing other people dead has no effect on me whatsoever. I saw a dead body once while out, he was washed up on the river bank and the crime scene people were there and I was more fascinated than anything else.

The Dr Gunther series is real good and I would recommend it to people as it is very informative aswell.

Midwifes these days have to do pretty much everything from conception, care during and after the birth, help in theatre, give meds, do dressings, all the paperwork as there is so many forms for everything, look after both parents, be a counsellor, be a social worker if there is any sight of drugs/violence. The delivering the baby is the tip of the iceberg. I was shocked at everything they have to do, it is so much more than it was back in the day. There is programs on called 'One Born Every Minute' and midwifes hate it as it makes out in the program everything is great, you sit about chatting and have tea, then the person comes in and gives birth and go off happily ever after. Where in fact they only show about 1% of what actually goes on.

I can back this up, and it was true even a few decades ago when I was having my kids. (All four of mine were born at home, three with midwives. Yoda's birth was with a local OB/GYN who still did home births.)

I went to monthly prenatal appointments with my midwife (drove out to her farm), and we discussed everything from nutrition to birth preparedness. She had to know all sorts of things, including enough medical intervention to keep things going smoothly during a normal low-risk birth. And of course, she then came back postpartum to check on me and the baby.

And yes, all that paperwork! Poor Ellen. She really earned her fee many times over, God bless her. I attended a few births with her as a sort of assistant, and I realized just how difficult it is to be the attendant at a birth. I came to the conclusion that I'd rather be the person going through the birth than the midwife.

SO, my hat's off to your wife for her decision! :D

There are some candies based off peanut butter.... chic-o-sticks are like eating a Butterfinger candy bar without the coconut but add chocolate..

Chic-o-sticks have been around since I was a child... they are good and very nostalgic to me.

These are just like chic-o-stick without the coconut... and even older than the chic-o-stick themselves

Just come back from being out with the kids, thankfully the rain has stopped all day so we were able to go and play. Also went shopping and let my daughter go on the ride but as she wanted me to go on with her the guy running it said 'go ahead' I explained 'no im to big' etc and he and my daughter wouldnt take no for an answer so I went on the damn ride as well

 The ride was outside our local asda and also right outside the resturant windows and there were quite a few people looking out of the windows probably thinking 'What the hell am I seeing!' Its worth it, Phoebe loved me being on there, plus I didnt have to pay for myself :D

Cheers Nebs she is a legend fairplay. If my boy had come with us I dont think I would of had to go on, but he was to busy playing on the xbox with my brother in law who is 2 years older than him.

Listening to...Well Eminem killing Slim Shady...I think,I'm not sure, its only my 3rd time listening this album :D ...Its so nice to see(hear) there are still complex lyrics not just auto-tune/party/**** idiotic thing...When older artists stop doing this I don't know who will replace them...I'm not talking about Rap,I'm talking about music overall, because new school sucks...

Taking a break from watching The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. This is my second attempt. I fell asleep during my first attempt. This time I've downed an energy shot first - and this damn movie is still making me drowsy. Still an hour to go, too.

Trying to get my DVD collection site updated. I've acquired 67 movies since the last time I updated it. I'm just a little bit behind. (Though for the record, 50 of them came in one box set and 14 came in another set)

I wish I had time to organize my dvds better and perhaps put up a site with them..

I even wish I had time to work on my Nordic Cinema Blog.... :(

I do try to update my poetry blog when I write new poems or short stories tho.....

Good luck Miss Vicky!

Sitting watching tv with a glass of wine after a hectic week. Eldest son and girlfriend bought a house and got the keys last weekend. During this last week as well as being at work, me and his girlfriend and her mum have painted five rooms, and son and my hubbie have rewired lights and put in loads of new sockets. They moved their stuff this morning and we've spent the day helping them sort stuff out. Knackered now. Need a lie in tomorrow!
