hehehe

Well it depends if the old lady was going to cross the road ;)

Maybe your mum has a hard time expressing, her anger in a proper manner, instead of saying something like "What you did was bad" She is saying something like "You are bad" it happens, ask her. :D
Oh my mum has no problems expressing her anger. I have been yelled at for hours on end many a time. If anything my Mum's anger is too well expressed ;). Still its only cause she loves me and she worry's about me.

Regarding the old lady she was half way through crossing the road in the city and the lights were ending and she was only half way through the intersection and was pushing one of the pushy things that old people use. She was clearly struggling and about 20 people just stood there and watched as she struggled across the road. I saw this and went to help her and pushed the old people trolly thing for her. She was very greatful. Sometimes I really wonder about society...

Thats was my good deed the day. I saw some poor guy getting mugged but I'd reached my good deed quota for the day. :p:D

Just finished a banana smoothie for lunch. While drinking my smoothie, I went through the new issue of "Martha Stewart Living" (don't laugh!) and listened to the CBC (they really talk a lot....sometimes that annoys me. Like today. So I turned it down. I was still annoyed, however, so I turned it off.). Now I'm here, talking to my computer. I think I'll take a pee, then a nap. Then I have some bookkeeping to do at my computer. Oh, what frikken fun. Thank God it's Friday, and all that crap. By the way, I don't actually LIKE Martha Stewart, I just like her magazine. It's chock-full of great "I'm-a-little-housewife-Look-at-me!" ideas, to amaze and irritate your friends, which I love.
Byeeee!!!! Have a blunderful day, people!

Crying because I just upgraded my video card from 64MB to 128MB and I still have choppy game play on Doom 3; on the "lowest" settings. How about this: Doom 3 can't even be run at Ultra Quality.
In Ultra quality, we load each texture; diffuse, specular, normal map at full resolution with no compression. In a typical DOOM 3 level, this can hover around a whopping 500MB of texture data. This will run on current hardware but obviously we cannot fit 500MB of texture data onto a 256MB card and the amount of texture data referenced in a give scene per frame ( 60 times a second ) can easily be 50MB+. This can cause some choppiness as a lot of memory bandwidth is being consumed. It does however look fantastic :-) and it is certainly playable on high end systems but due to the hitching that can occur we chose to
require a 512MB Video card before setting this automatically.

Awww, cheer up! Songs have the power to release all sorts of emotions. And don't think you aren't "manly" because you cried. Actually, manly men have problems because they can't release emotion, so you are lucky that you can. It's actually pretty healthy to cry and just let it out. And songs are great to help with that. You can't get over something if you just keep everything in.

The best way to get an avatar is to just look up what you're looking for in Google. Click on images instead of web and you'll find what you're looking for. You just need to crop and resize the damn thing until your picture is, at the most, 90x90 pixels. I found two of Clooney for you and cropped/resized them and everything! :) Here ya' go!

:D Your "prying" is one of my favorite things at MoFo.
Mom was/is here for 6 days. She flies out tonight.
We had a great time - did a lot of shopping (she bought me a digital camera!!!!!), watched some good movies (she'd never seen The Apartment, and we saw I <3 Huckabees) She had seen Breakfast at Tiffany's back in 1959 in NYC on a trip with a girlfriend, so after we watched that, she told me all about that trip, which was really fun to hear.

That last question's a good one...
I think I've learned to deny myself little things, something she does a LOT that I wish she'd stop doing. We actually talked about that a bit this weekend. Like, she'll see something in a store or on tv that she wants, and not get it... and then spend a ton of time trying to find it again later. I think I've gotten used to foregoing little things, and I honestly don't know what the point of that is. :p
