Today has been a very strange day, kinder like a dream.
First Michael Jackson dead and now i was watching the news and this kid from my school was getting interviwed live from Los Angles about his reaction Michael's death!
It was soooo weird, the news reader was like "we are crossing to UCLA Hospital to talk to fans about Michael's death" and the guy in Los Angles was like we have a family from Melbourne here, and then there that kid was. It wasn't like i was expecting anyone that i know to be, so that was the most surprising bit about it.
The events of today seem like the type of dream i would have, so im questioning if im actualy dreaming.
Im having breakfast and watching the news im shocked that Michael Jackson is dead, thankyou for the music and rest in peace.

Chillaxing - ya know this word seems more like "ice picking" than relaxing to me, but hey - I am cool with it. My age is starting to show it seems. My kids are embarrassed for me. Oh well, I was embarrassed for them when hey balled their eyes out the first day of school. ;)

Luckily, I brought my portable hard drive with me today (Saturdays are always so brutally slow anyway, having to be here extra time today just makes it worse) so maybe I can watch a movie later on or something.

Drink some Gatorade. Loads of Potassium in that. Potassium is great for muscle cramps, and liver function. Plus, dehydration can cause muscle cramps. So the Gatorade helps either way, there. You may have also pulled your muscle in an odd way, while doing something.

Got Scrubs on in the background, thinking about going to bed.
Mad day so far trying to get my wife and daughters passport sorted the forms are so rediculus and the only person who can counter sign them lives 30 mile round trip away. Weve been there once and looks like we need to go there again
Also I found out last night that one of my friends hung himself by the local school in the town where he lives. I havent seen him in a few months but he seemed fine the day before on facebook. It is a huge shock to us all just cant believe it.

Yep! When I was married we moved 4 times in 10 years, doing each one up and making a bit more profit each time.
I kinda dropped into Tatty Towers because it was never really meant for me to live in - it was bought to rent out but when the marriage ended we sold the 'proper' place and, as luck would have it, this one was sitting empty. The way the market is, this may be a pipe dream for a year or two but I'm definitely starting to think about moving.
A nice little cottage outside town would be lovely. :)

I need to be very very careful because whatever I get for this place is going to be near enough the entire capital for the next one. It's not gonna be an upgrade but rather a 'not-as-near-a-main-road-grade'. If I could winch this place a few hundred yards down the road it'd be perfect. 4 1/2 years in one house is the longest I've spent tied down since I was a kid living with my mum. I think. ;)
In other news: I don't think I've got swine flu! Or if I have, it's either a really mild dose or I'm Superman. Still feel like death warmed up but no worse so it's probably just a summer cold. :D

any one else is currently dieting
My life is one diet :yup:
I have managed to lose weight before but due to my health ive gained about 3 stone more than I would like to be so ive joined this club now and following the strict guidlines hopefully I can lose it again, *fingers crossed*
Do your meds make it hard to loose the weight? Good luck, :yup:
Im not to sure TBH I dont think the meds cause weight gain/loss but the most syptom that I get is sickness and with IBS aswell it can be very anoying and difficult. The good thing is im in the right frame of mind to get into the diet so im looking forward to starting it. But with the depression I hope it doesnt get in the way of it also. The biggest problem I have is inactivity due to the problems I have. Cheers for the comment
The right frame of mind is a good start :yup:

Wasabi peas! ;D
Someone dropped off a packet of these strange looking little things (green peas coated in wasabi paste and roasted, I believe) and told me that I'd get instant relief if my tubes were blocked and painful.
All I can say is: Flip me, flip me for real - they work!

Not like these things, let me assure you - And I lived in Birmingham (England, not Alabama ;)) for 6 years so I've had my fair share of spicy food. :)
EDIT - A had a look online yesterday about the health benefits of wasabi (and there are many) and came across a blog from a guy who ate a bowlful of the coated peas when his sinuses were up the left. They worked but he was soon running to the bathroom and ... ermmm ... firing out of both ends.

Aye, I'm a bit scared to take too many of these little green bombs. Threats of an explosion here in the north of Ireland tend to be looked upon a bit unfavourably. ;)
Put together a powerpoint pres' for a position at work and met that deadline, just sitting down to chill for the rest of the day and get a phone call that my daughter is in jail. Yay....:(. She has tried to call 4 times now and whatever lame system they have does not connect the calls from her when I accept it. I went online and put money into some acct and it still does not work. What if I did not have internet (yes , I know I do) but what about those who do not? There is no way to do it otherwise. Technology is pissing me off today. Why is it so hard for her just to call me?
