Apparently he's had two heart attacks, and he's seen his act flat out plagiarized by his own brother, so he's become a bit bitter in his old age. Some of the show was still flat out funny, with Gallagher all but daring the audience to hate him, and spewing forth intentionally provocative things, but then some of it bordered on self pity, and his dislike of women veered into uncomfortable territory, especially as he verbally abused various women brought up on stage.

Shame....still like to see him though...That's sort of like what it was seeing Andrew Dice Clay last year. But he's so primitive and funny that you laugh your balls off for 2 hours.

Had a death in the family today, my uncle. He was a fair age and had been ill for a while so not totally unexpected. Sad thing is that his daughter is on holiday in Romania and they're finding it difficult to contact her. :(

Oooh, I started watching the U.S. version of this (one season so far, the second season starting later this month), and I recently saw that the British version is on Netflix. Saw the first episode and liked it quite a bit. (I like the British version of the ghost a lot more than the U.S. version.)

Will be curious to see how much the two versions parallel each other.

Right now, I'm tweaking a new laptop, watching a bad movie on Sy-Fy, and passing the time till tomorrow, when we SHOULD hear about closing on our house. New laptop is fun, at least....

If you've not seen it before, Mountaineer, I'd recommend starting with Blackadder II, as The Blackadder is a very different animal and not what made the programme the much loved programme it is. However, series 2-4 are about as good as tv comedy gets.

Cheers HK mate, It turned out to be one hell of a migrane and I spent 3 hours in bed (I went home from my mother in laws when she came back from shopping with my wife) but from that my Fibro has flared up so Im not well at all tbh.

Ran 3 miles. Still haven't been to sleep. It's 6:09am over here. Need to take a shower and crash soon. When I get up will go to a friend's house, where a bunch of us will watch UFC 144 on a 102 inch specialy made Samsung. He's got like a small theater that can seat 24 people.
