One Reason Why You Gotta Love The Drive-In
There was a triple feature at my local drive-in this weekend: The Dark Knight, The Incredible Hulk and Ironman.
Who else to crash the show from the air than the Man of Bats, himself, which was pretty impressive, given the fairly small landing zone.

At school proms i once wore heals, until i figured out every girl would be wearing heals, so i wore flat shoes and i didnt look that tall anymore :cool: Personally i think my height is ok, in my family im a midget :D

Me Mrs. Darcy and the kids, went to Fort MacArthur, in San Pedro, California, a couple of weeks ago to check out some living history.
There were so many groups.
Civil War, Pirates, Romans, Midevil...you name it.
R. Lee Ermy was there.
I went up and said hello, and got a picture with the gunny.
He fits in with MoFo stuff.
Anyway, he is right up there with Clint Eastwood and Ward Bond.

The guy on the right was sort of wild.
He portrayed a Russian.

Doing this sort of thing is a way to get into the movies.
Depending on who is making the movie, they will contact these historical groups for authentic people to be in their movie.
Great pictures, Slug. I love that you have the same look and glasses in so many of them. It's like you just Photoshopped the same image into all of them. :D It's particularly funny in the picture with the three Vietnamese women.

Picture the scene - January 1973 and an infant Tatty is brought kicking and screaming into a world (and continues screaming for a while after that, for he is a cholic-y baby) of unrest. Briefly before this picture was taken me and this jerk kid Ben got into a fight over shotgun in my good friends car. I always get shotgun and he never drove with my friend but "claimed" that he had called it. So i look at my friend (the driver) and he says "you gotta sort it out yourselves!" So we start yelling something like,
"Get in the back seat"
"No!"
"Get in the back seat!"
"No!"
"Dammit Ben I said get back there!"
"NO!"
"GET IN THE ****IN BACK!!!"
And with a final war cry I grabbed my shirt and RIPPED it in two and beat my chest. Wordlessly and as fast as lightning, he got in the back seat as I sat triumphantly upon the passenger seat.
He still avoids me to this day. True Story.

HOCKING HILLS, OHIO
These are some pics from our recent trip to the Hocking Hills, in southeastern Ohio. Quite a beautiful place that resulted from glaciation 10-15 thousand years ago and the luck of land being made up of impermeable and semi-permeable mixtures of sandstones and impervious shale. When the glacier retreated and melt waters carved their way through, spectacular gulleys, canyons and rock shelters were left. In the gorges left behind, small micro climates with attending flora resulted, reminiscent of more northerly Canadian latitudes. Canadian yews and bigleaf magnolias are found here, well outside their ranges, thanks to the glaciers of the last ice age.

The view from inside Old Man's Cave. Though earliest indications are that the Adena culture visited these shelters around 7000 years ago, Old Man's Cave was the abode of an early settler from Tennessee and his dog looking for game after the Civil War. He found the area and it was said he and his dog lived in the shelter for the remainder of his days. It was said he perished by an accidental blast from his gun and the local native Wyandot buried him somewhere near the entrance.

Some new pics from the feature film I've just finished on as 3rdAD, its called " Wasted " and has some well known Scottish talent in front of the camera, namely Gary Lewis ( Billy Elliot, Gangs of New York ) David Hayman ( The Jackal, Vertical Limit ) & Kate Dickie ( Red Road ). Was a great 3 week shoot, got the post shoot blues!!!!

this is a sankofa which means to ''return and get it''.. its a symbol of importance of learning from the past from West Africa. i hated the feet so it kinda looks like a swan. i added a green eye and a single tear to represent i am tired of crying. i was going thru an extremely rough patch and i wanted to make a huge change in my life. just to show the varities of this symbol, here is another version of it. another forum i post on this girl who has this version-i didnt want to take her idea..

Partially. I bought the cloak last year, and cobbled the rest together from stuff I had at home. LT lent me the cross pendant. I think she bought her whole costume, and added little touches here and there. LT did my make-up, which I thought came out pretty well.

Every once in awhile one won't work, and whatever it is I do in Animation Shop, it fixes them. I've done 3-4 for a few members now. PM the avatar to me, and I'll see what I can do.
p.s. Yep, it's red hair, and yep, I always assumed I was talking to a guy. You make two members now that I've guessed wrong, but out of numerous, I'm doing pretty good. :p

As a few of you already know me and my sweetheart made it "official" and got all hitched and stuff. It was a wonderful experience and one that I will cherish forever. My wife is a wonderful woman and a good cook... which is important because I'm big and I like to eat. :p
Here's a few pictures of our special day for starters, we have many more including one of her cat in a tuxedo that I will most definitely be putting up as soon as I can. Truly it is a must see.

It was a lovely little chapel that was actually in back of a private residence here in Des Moines right next the Puget Sound. Here's a picture of the backdrop that was really nice to have in the background during the ceremony. Tabitha really loves the water so it was perfect for her.

And here is her familiar and very loved cat Weeda wee Chunka monk, who believe it or not put up no fight and was purring profusely after she put his tux on. That cat is something else. She can do almost anything she wants to him and he just loves her dearly.

And here is one with my Mother and my lovely bride. My Mother was so happy when we told her we were getting married that it was actually her that found the little chapel where we got married and paid for the whole affair. She also flew in from Alabama to attend. She has been waiting for 36 years for her only child to get married and I'm so happy she came.

The Sadie Hawkins dance was last night and i have pictures! it's kinda hard to see in any of them what our 'costume/outfit' was but i was cheap and didn't want to formulate a whole costume lol...i'm in black and no that's not my boyfriend i've just been friends with him for 5-6 years now. And i got a hair trim :( but she took off like 3 inches because i hadn't had a trim for over a year and now my hair seems sooo much shorter!

my cats barely ever hiss because they're so cute and cuddly and adorable :D i have 3 and yeah Maxine, the black one, has the most intense yawns ever. Here are some regular pics of them being cute. Maxine is the black one and she's the oldest, Chloe is the orange one and she's in the middle and Stella is the white one and she's the youngest and the one who follows me everywhere and sleeps with my every night :D she's 3
