went for a walk in my neighborhood; there's a park behind my house. didn't bother showering or even brushing my hair before i left, cause... Florida and August.

still trying to socialize babygirl, and it's been really difficult and slow-going. even though i tried to remain calm on the outside, she's very perceptive and she knew i was frustrated. she's doing her "pls forgive me see i'm cute" stance in that last pic.

guys. i know HK. remember me, ash? i know i haven't been around much in the past, like, 3 years or so, but i've been a member of this board for over 10 years. i know him well enough to agree that HK didn't mean any harm either, but i'm obviously saying something about it because it made me uncomfortable. also, it's not the first pussy joke he's made - if you go back a few pages, i posted other pictures of my dog and cat and he was quick to say something about 'my pussy' then, too.

like, i get it. i'm a girl. i have a cat, i have a vagina (one assumes), haha lol.

but i really don't think he needs y'all to come to his rescue. i said something, it's over, HK can either stop making those kinds of jokes or just keep making them i guess and i'll stop sharing things if i don't like it. let's move on

Ash, I know you want to leave it but can I just say that the pussy double entendre joke is one that's embedded in British music hall humour for generations. Us Brits would immediately think of Mrs Slocombe in Are You Being Served , a TV sitcom full of double entendres from our childhood, where she always played on pussy jokes. Old fashioned now, but just a bit of nostalgic humour. I'm sure HK would never want to upset anyone here.

Yeah, I should probably explain that, huh?

When we started playing last year we didn't have uniforms, obviously, so we just picked a color so everyone could wear a shirt they already had or just buy one that was generally the right shade. We chose green.

Later we decided to vote on a real team name, and everybody was invited to make suggestions. Because we all already had green shirts, it made sense for some of the suggestions to be based around that color. I thought about green things, and avocados popped into my head. So I half-jokingly suggested "Raging Avocados."

Not only did it win, it won by a landslide.

So here we are. I regret nothing.

It was mostly the diet; exercise helped a bit, but I don't do a ton of it. There's a lot more detail in the Health & Fitness Tournament thread (http://www.movieforums.com/community/showthread.php?anchor=1&p=1253208#post1253208), but the short version is that I cut out a lot of carbs, supplemented the proteins with fruit, walked regularly, and started eating less late at night.

Yeah it did a bit, I fell and my shin took a big smack on a large jagged rock. It's odd that right when it happened I barely felt it, then I looked down at my leg and saw blood oozing out of 4 different places, it started to hurt after that. :sick:

Heh, yeah I will for sure! I climbed all over those rocks like twenty times before and never got a scratch on me, but it takes one time and now I'm not too crazy about doing it again. :p

I do live right beside a beach but not that one. That pic is Murlough Bay in Newcastle which is about 30 mins drive from me. It has a decent sand dune which we love flying down on the sled. Great craic.

He's one of my favorite comics of all-time, but he had a few drinks with his buddies, and his performance wasn't very great. We still had a good time... Although, I was a little concerned as Bill kept mentioning Hitler, Nazis, and Germany and a long time on guys paying for the girl's ticket - a friend flaked out on me, so I wouldn't even accept money, as I just didn't wanna go alone!

As for the Filmore, I think I might have been there once for another comedy show, but not sure who, or how it was.

Btw, I'm from Flint and she's from Germany doing her masters in Canada, and though it would be great for someone outside of the country to see our comedy. I asked her afterwards and she said German comics were the same.

it is called 'sea of milk' because in the rainy season ( yes , june to september is a separate rainy season in india ) the water comes with such force and looks so white that it looks like milk . however trekking there in the rains is not easy because the rocky ground on the path to the falls becomes very slippery . also you are not allowed to swim near the base during rains because the water comes with such ferocity that you will be swept away . here are a couple of photos i found on the internet , taken during rains----

Ripley has received a PICC or central line this week as well as having a bronch wash. She will be treated with antibiotics for pseudomonas and staph. She has been suffering from a cold, now it's RSV (Respiratory syncytial virus) which infects the lungs and breathing passages

She's unable to keep all of her food down, but shes seeming to be feeling a little better. :)

This weekend.. Since my car is a piece of junk, I was going to borrow someone else' to see a girl. As I'm going to do that, my car hits a telephone pole (we had 10" of snow), totals it. Police, paramedics, fire trucks come, but I insist on not going to the hospital even with bad vitals. Within an hour, I drive 3 hours (75 km) in a situation 1000x worse. I'm finally home, and I think I'll look forward to not having a car. I hate driving.

Unfortunately, after 13 years, I realize I can't see her anymore. She apologizes 2 days ago for the 13 years, then does everything she said she was being a hypocrite about, AND MORE!

Thanks guys... I'm more hurt that she was so callous towards me when I went through all that crap to see her.

This was only the second time I asked her to watch a movie with me (Barry Lyndon) and yesterday was "Harry and Tonto" which after 20 minutes or so she said was boring, so I turned it off...

I was falling asleep, she woke me up, and kept waking me up, pleading "Don't worry, I don't need sleep, and I don't have plans tomorrow" then tells me to leave when I was too tired to drive so she could use the toilet...

Yeah it has. The tat was designed by one of my closed friends who is an illustrator from Kolding design school. Its geometrical aesthetics is partly inspired by the Spanish surrealist Joan Miró :)

Pheasants are super rare here nowadays but you'll occasionally see one. I seem to have four - two nesting couples - living in my front field. Magnificent!

They are beautiful looking birds aren't they? There's loads in the surrounding countryside around Bristol. We followed one in the car early one morning up a country lane on the way to work, it just wouldn't get back into the field, just running up the road. Had to get out of the car and shoo it away in the end ...no I didn't miss the 't' off!

I graduated first in my class the last year but I'm very dumb in : physics, mathematics, economy (I don't understand when my banker talks to me) and in English, of course :D That's not a problem, because I am a Maths & English genius (and also very good at modesty). However, I hate economy, too, so we'd have to hire somebody to make our wedding payable, because we seem to be both not too experienced in this field.

Thanks. :) Yeah, about 60 lbs, all this year. I posted a fair bit about it in this thread (http://www.movieforums.com/community/showthread.php?anchor=1&p=1252233#post1252233). Moved onto some mild weight lifting and feeling a lot better/healthier. So far, so good.
