the concept of chav has recently been explained to me on a music forum i'm on....as i gather it, chav's are the english equivalent of white trash or wigga's in america, they dress like black people in america and listen to rap....i'm on an entirely different plane of thought, if you saw my picture you noticed i'm none of those things, i listen to all kinds of music- from rock through indie, pop, dance, alt. country, hard core, funk, acid jazz, chill out to electro pop....i don't wear gold neckleces that weigh 5 pounds and english is not my primary language nor do i live in england.....

I had a Burberry cap wayyyyy back when they were expensive and before the street scum decided it was 'their lable'.

Anyways, out of total respect to all the chav's out there, last November myself and my compadres' lashed my cap to the pointy part of a very large industrial firework and lit the old blue touch paper.

20secs later we are all rolling around laughing as most of the cap came gently wafting back into the garden.
What happened to the front and peak of the cap? Hell, we just don't know, but the back half is now framed and hung with pride on my kitchen wall.

I think i have finally managed to get some photos on here! So heres a look at the rare Blob for ya.

These photos are from my trip to Madrid at the beginning of June, was awsome fun...

It unfortunatly gets a bit messy here. Went out for abig night out in Madrid and got a little bit drunk! Ooopsy! Was funny though as i decided to wear the shirt seen here, although, it had poppers as the buttons, and due to the intake of alchohol, i thought it was hilarious to rip open my shirt and launch myself at people as a machine in the club blasted us with smoke, giving the impression i had actually exploded. Recieved lots of laughs the first time i done it. The other 25 times were not as funny...

Apropos to absolutely nothing, that post took me back to the age of 7 or 8 when some teachers went on strike in our school - everyone was hoarded into the dining room and the telly wheeled out. Only problem was that the one teacher left (it was a small country Primary so there were only 90 pupils) didn't know what to watch.

He switched the TV on and we were luckily greeted by the day's programme order, the sound was turned down and, just as the teacher was about to switch channels, I piped up, "Sir! Keep it on that one because The Bionic Man is on next!!"

Cut to whoops of delight from assorted kids who, like me, didn't realise the title of our favourite show was The Six Million Dollar Man (Lee Majors was to become quite a hero in our eyes, especially when The Fall Guy came out and we were treated to plenty of shots of Heather Thomas in a bikini) and the teacher allowed us to watch the upcoming non-educational programme to keep us out of mischief.

Quite as to why Steve Austin would be appearing at 11am was soon to be revealed - the opening credits rolled with the appearance of cuddly conservationist David Bellamy introducing his new educational eco-fest Botanic Man...

I was quite unpopular for the next 30 minutes, there were even a few whispers of "Keep your trap shut next time, smartarse" from the older boys. :(

They had these amazing glass sculptures all over the garden and park, they were so weird and shiny. They looked srangely organic as well so they complimented the foliage nicely :yup:

If it's a pic from the web - right-click it and select properties (or if using Firefox, select copy image location) and paste the url between the two tags:

Just leave out the asterisks.

If you want to upload an image from your PC, you need to create an attachment.

If you're doing that and the pic's disappearing then the website you're choosing it from doesn't allow hyperlinking...in which case, find another picture or save it to your PC and upload it as an attachment. :)

And your mom is exceptionally hip to have been online so long. My mom is finally warming up to the notion of learning how to flip the "ON" switch, after 10 years of nagging, prodding and begging.

My mom's not a typical grandma. (I mean, we're talking Yoda's grandma here.) She's upgraded her computer several times and now owns a nice Dell with a 17" flat panel monitor. (She gives us her castoff monitors when she upgrades.) Has a digital camera, flatbed scanner, etc. etc.

I admit it was tough getting her online at first (in the mid-'90s) but once she got the hang of it, there was no stopping her. I wrote an article about getting her online, which was a hilarious story in itself, and I won $2000 for it in a contest online. :)
