There was quite a few book stores.

They had a Gala today with all of the surrounding schools in the area competing... and her team won it.

I've been to Belgium last week... it quickly became one of my favorite places I've visited so far :D

This is in Brussels... it's a really amazing city, the architecture is quite beautiful and we found a lot of these little parks/green spaces with really pretty flower arrangements.

Natasha you look lovely! I like Belgium too. My first ever trip abroad was to Bruges when I was 11 on a school trip. It was all so continental . We had bread and butter with chocolate sprinkles on for breakfast, very exotic! (well this was back in the sixties!)

I normally hate beer, but since you can't go to Belgium and not drink beer I tried some of their fruit beer and I liked it a lot.

I was born in Japan. But left after 3 months when I was a baby. But I have lived in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Seoul, South Korea. Not to mention visited plenty of other countries. I need to go back to Japan.

My skanky next door neighbours moved out a few weeks ago and the landlord has been clearing out the property.


This is the second load. They've filled this flatbed once already today.

That's an awkward face you've got on there, Tacitus. My mother had the same thing a couple of weeks ago at my Great Aunt's funeral. She tried to rest against one of those little cushions she put against her back, but every time she moved (or had to stand up or whatever) it fell between the gap in the pew. there are leopards in that jungle , but when the falls are in bloom during rains many humans walk the track to the falls and scare the leopards away from the track due to constant human activity....or so my guide told me when i was hesitant to enter the jungle .

anyway the jungle was scary enough to deter the two friends accompanying me from going to the falls...they remained seated in the SUV while i and the guide made the trip alone...he took my photos .

But there must be a better way to express yourself. I have nothing against tattoos in general. It just looks so painful.i'm not sure if people do it because they can't think of other, better ways to express themselves. but it's a distinctive, artistic way to express yourself. some people like using fashion, accessories, and makeup in the same way. it's kind of an extension of that.

i didn't really used to like tattoos that much, but i do now. i like my back more now with the owl perched on it.

but yeah if you're really scared of needles then probably not for you. though, it's really not THAT painful. depending where you get it, of course. and how long it takes. really big tattoos are usually done in increments. my owl took less than an hour, though.

it really just depends on the type of person you are. the one thing i probably wouldn't recommend is getting a tattoo when you're too young, because i think there's always more of a chance you will regret it. i got my first tattoo on my 30th birthday, though. old as ****.

I work at Sci-Fi conventions. I've seen a ton of Star Trek tattoos, and lots of other sci-fi, horror, and other characters. My favorite is a cool Pepe Le Pew tattoo that one of my regular customers has on his upper chest.

I agree; it used to be that a person was unique if they had a tattoo, but now it seems you're unique if you don't have one. I just don't like them now; when you see people from a distance with them, it just looks like they're dirty or something. Still, it's obviously a person's right and choice, and if it makes them happy, it's a good thing. It just seems like every douchebag on the planet has them, although many decent people have them too.
