I have enough issues that I don't need to make them worse by drinking in excess. I've heard people with what I have tend towards substance abuse because "how could they be worse?" or "they help me cope" and et al. I'd rather not have harmful narcotics in my system, thanks... I'll take the mental troubles instead...
