    You’re welcome! Here’s a more detailed break down of the differences:

    They are dramatically lighter and have reduced comb filter effects and distortion due to E.A.R. (Ergonomic Acoustic Refinement) and Duofol diaphragms, which also gives them a much wider soundstage than the 280s.

    The bass is punchier (but not muddy like Beats) and the mid/vocal range is more in front.

    I picked up THESE today, and they are totally worth the upgrade if you are still rocking tatty HD 280s like me.

    I plan on ordering a new set of ear pads and a new headband for my 280s, but I couldnít say no when I demoed the 380s.

    Btw, Amazon is selling these for almost double that of Guitar Centerís price. Just thought Iíd give you a heads up.
