Is that a new record for you?
Depends on how long vacation was. If it was three months, that's only twelve movies a month.

The Odd Job should come tomorrow so I can ship it to get it on DVD and then I can finally watch it.

It clicked in my head a month or two ago that maybe someone could transfer a VHS to a DVD, and I inquired and two or three sites said it wouldn't be a problem, so I ordered the transfer with birthday money recently and will get the VHS tomorrow to ship off.

The process will take three weeks or so which is fine. I have other stuff to watch. Like Goldeneye. Which really isn't a very good movie... The game is fun though.

True if they are Orthodox Jewish. But one can be of Jewish heritage and not be religious or be a Christian, an Atheist or any religious ideology. The parents of Michelle Trachtenberg did not give a specific reason for not wanting an autopsy done.

Does that mean there will be no autopsy? Have you heard that for a fact? Just curious as I wondered what had happened with her.

Jewish religion does not allow autopsies.
Even in the case of a murder/crime/serious need for an autopsy?

However, when an autopsy is necessary, permission to undertake this procedure should be given only if the operation is reduced to a minimum, performed as soon as possible–and in the presence of a rabbi or observant and halakhically (having to do with Jewish law) knowledgeable physician — and undertaken with reverence. There must be absolute assurance that all parts of the body will be retained for burial.

Thanks for this clarification. This seems like a very respectful compromise.

Jewish Law is very strict when it comes to the human body.

I had a friend who was raised Jewish.

Plus i watch a lot of documentaries about different religions.
