There are things to gain from movies other than base comprehension. If that's all you're looking for in film, you barely have your eyes open.
Bobby, in my case i couldn't even begin to make sense of Mulholland Dr until third viewing. Even now its wishy washy after 6 or so
That's just your province Escape. There are B+'s in Ontario. It's entirely strange to imagine schooling in the US. I was chatting with my boy-toy last night about all the differences between Canada and the States. He thinks that the differences in the grading system has something to do with how much a course is worth in the states compared to Canada. In Canada, a 4 month course gives you half a credit, a full 8 month course gives you a full credit. (duh!) For a BA you need 15 credits (3 years program - 4 courses per year is a full load) An Honours is 20 credits (4 years - 5 courses is a full load) So in the states, I'm not exactly sure how it goes, but I do know that of one person who takes about 7 courses per semester, about 14 courses per year.
Where's my dollar? I want my dollar!
I see that now. And mine was taken from memory many year ago. Damn I'm good lol.

I don't recall there ever being a B+ or even an A+. Only a C+. Not sure if this applies all over Canada though or just in this Province.
A good + for my (hopefully) future filmmaking career:

I found out today, through two seperate uncles of mine, that if i wanted to, I could easilly talk to one of the props men from Pirates of the Caribean 2 (he made the skeleton part that Jack uses to row away with in the beginning and something else on Bootstrap Bill's neck) and the production assistant from My Best Friend's Wedding, since my uncles either know one of them personally or know the other, as he is their neighbor's son.

As they say... it's not what you know, it's who you know.
Don't own a Blackberry. I still have devices that do only one thing: an MP3 player that doesn't take pictures, a cell phone that doesn't play songs, a digital camera that doesn't make scrambled eggs and bacon.

I'm practically living in the Stone Age.
Norrington: No additional shot nor powder, a compass that doesn't point north,
[looks at Jack's sword]
Norrington: And I half expected it to be made of wood. You are without doubt the worst pirate I've ever heard of.
Jack Sparrow: But you have heard of me.
We agree?!

I have only one thing to say, I'd be lost without my BlackBerry.
I don't really understand "Mulholland Dr." to this point.

I've seen "The scene" before, but the first hour doesn't make sense yet. Will it in the end?
