but I am still in a weirdly good mood considering the week.

Game titles going up seems reasonable. I mean, I remember paying (er, I remember MOM paying) $45US and up per cartridge on the ole Genesis. I'm surprised they're not higher, TBH. Console costs, however, I could go without those increases unless VR or some other tech becomes part of the default package. More than just adding a game title and coloring the box. My PS3 was already a home entertainment center beyond just gaming. My PS5 is the same. Granted, better graphics, but I struggle justifying the next console (PS3, to 4, to 5). Obviously I picked all three up, so the struggle isn't THAT much, but at some point in time pricing will pass a threshold and that may be that.
