I don't like that thread. A lot of pet-y arguments.
Really no clue what breed she is. She's just big. Posted in the pets sub-forum.

You need to keep that dog, yo.
Pit bulls can be dense in both senses.

But yeah, pictures or BANNED. I demand it!
Ha! Yeah.
I took her to the vet yesterday to check for a chip. She's very well mannered and sweet but OMG she is dense. I mean muscle mass! she wanted to sniff every single plant while walking to the door. I couldn't budge her. At least with my Dootle-bug (rat terrier) I could just pick her up. Not a chance here.

After, I thought I'd walk her through Petsmart to pick up a dish or something. I realized not even halfway through the parking lot that that wasn't going to happen. She was clearly excited and walking ahead of me. I figured either the collar would snap or she would lunge in excitement to play with a hamster cage. Not the hamster, mind you. Just the cage. No. We turned around and went home. She may need two collars as a redundancy.
Cat food is crack for dogs!

They can't resist. Dog version of Tyrone Biggums scratches neck and, "Hey man, got anymore of them Meow Mix crosses?
Part of the issue is that they're very strong, to be sure, so when something *does* go wrong it can go more wrong than if a Scottish Terrier goes wrong.
Awww. Take pictures!

Yeah, pit bulls have a reputation, but they're just very loyal, and loyal dogs are reflections of their owners more than most, which is why the loyalest breeds are the ones with reputations for violence. Pit bulls can really be a handful, too, which people mistake for them being "bad dogs," and give them away a lot. It's really sad. Pounds are full of them.

They are, as my wife puts it, "20% more dog." Both for good and ill.
