The Shoutbox
My perspective during the Monkees set was "Get me out of here, and FAST."

Luckily, Al had played already.

Yes! He did tour with the Monkees (or, they with him, depending on your perspective) back then!

I've seen Al live twice in fifteen years and the second time was over a decade ago now - as I recall, his last tour date here was a good few years ago and in a festival lineup to boot. That was disappointing but what can you do. Twice is better than never and both shows were great, especially the latter because he did "Albuquerque".

Wowza. It must really be somethin'.
Multimedia craziness. Costume changes all over the place. GREAT fun for all ages. And he IS an all-around nice guy in real life. Courteous to fans and other artists alike. It's no coincidence he's been doing this for 40 years and is stronger than ever. (He's getting his own star on the Walk of Fame on August 27, finally!)
Mushrooms and licking the couch. Licking and licking and licking and licking and licking...
We have had a lot of rain recently. Rain brings mushrooms. Mushrooms that the dogs love to eat.

Unfortunately we don't have cows.

You never go wrong with "Weird Al" Yankovic tickets. Even the friend I dragged to one of the last times he toured admitted that it was probably one of the best put-on concerts she'd seen. He's a workhorse and SO entertaining!

At this point there's really only one act that I'm willing to shell out the money for and he's it. Most of my favorites I've already seen at least once and AFAIK aren't touring anyway. The only (former) favorite that's on tour now is Fleetwood Mac, but since they fired Buckingham they can KMA.
