My bad... yeah it's a 12
Just checked the DVD.

I have seen the first film played at 8pm a few times as well tbh.
Within 15 minutes, they were at what should have been the hour mark because they'd cut so much of it out.
Young Guns II was actually much tamer, so it was rated 12. The first Young Guns is rated 18 (although I really don't think it deserved such a high rating).

There's a bit more to Jurassic World than people realised.
They were loads of scenes and ideas from the books, that never made it into the original films that were then used in JW.

Young Guns 2, an 18 rated movie, playing at 6:45pm on a Sunday.
They've stuck it in a 2 hour 15 minute slot as well, and it's only 1 hour 50.

So at least 3/4 of the movie will need edited out because it's not suitable for the time of day it's being shown... meaning they need to fill the 2h15 slot, with at least 1h45m of adverts.
I never watch movies on cable over here because of that. 2 hour movies are always given 3 hour blocks on channels like FX and TNT. No way, rather rent them if I don't own them.
My point though is playing a movie that's not suitable for that time of day... and editing out most of it.

If I advertised a Ford Focus for sale... took payment... and delivered a Ford Focus steering wheel only. No chassis, engine etc etc, JUST the steering wheel only... I would get done.

Why the hell they do it is beyond me.
I've seen loads of movies played at sill times of day and it all gets cut out.
The Addams Family was on earlier as well, 11am in fact... most of it was cut out.
I see. Does Young Guns II have much to edit besides the rear end scene?
