The Shoutbox
Yeah, I'm trying a few things. I'm using an exercise bike to try to get better sleep, too. We'll see how it goes.

Hmmm. Maybe you should drink another mug in the middle of the day then?
You might get too dependent on it, though, so maybe it is indeed better to use a more natural way to fight your tiredness, like sports.
I drink a lot of coffee, costs a fortune in electric.

Basically I'm a chain drinker, one after the other.

I went on tea for a while but noticed I stunk of tea, my armpits were right wiffy, so I went back on coffee.

Haven't ever noticed any effects to health though.
Of course there are some possible negative side effects too, but I'm always positive on this kind of things, certainly if general studies showed that coffee drinkers tend to live longer!
I'm kind of obsessed with the idea of having a long life. I'm afraid of an early death.
It's probably just wishful thinking. We have absolutely no control whatsoever of our own (natural) death, unfortunately.

"Extensive scientific research has been conducted to examine the relationship between coffee consumption and an array of medical conditions. The general consensus in the medical community is that moderate regular coffee drinking in healthy individuals is either essentially benign or mildly beneficial. In 2012, the National Institutes of Health–AARP Diet and Health Study analysed the relationship between coffee drinking and mortality. They found that the amount of coffee consumed correlated negatively with risk of death, and that those who drank any coffee lived longer than those who did not.[114] However the authors noted, "whether this was a causal or associational finding cannot be determined from our data." A similar study with similar results was published in the New England Journal of Medicine in 2012.[114] Researchers involved in an ongoing 22-year study by the Harvard School of Public Health stated that "the overall balance of risks and benefits [of coffee consumption] are on the side of benefits."
Findings have also been contradictory as to whether coffee has any specific health benefits, and results are similarly conflicting regarding the potentially harmful effects of coffee consumption. Furthermore, results and generalizations are complicated by differences in age, gender, health status, and serving size." - Wikipedia

I read this a few years ago and since then, I'm drinking at least 1 mug (mostly 2 or 3 mugs) of coffee every day. I know it's no proof, but coffee is certainly not bad (or so it seems) and it keeps me energetical!

I'd have thought the site was ok for him now... it's been great the past couple days since Yods sorted that script error.
Why did he leave?

Ya, it does suck. The shout box hasn't been the same. He checks in almost everyday though, never posts, or shouts
i mean if that's true, yoda should just shut down the site right now... like what's the point anymore really
