Sometimes posting here gives me the "overqualified for the job" feeling. *sigh*

Time for another film, I guess.
I don't take part in HoFs, but could somebody please nominate a Straub/Huillet film in one of them? I'd like to see normies squirm & suffer.
Old Hollywood films are so verbose it's just tiring. Hard to binge on this stuff.
I really don't know how anybody can pretend Godzilla: Final Wars isn't the best Godzilla film with a straight face.
The best 2024 films will become available only in 2025, just like with 2023 films.

Yeah, there have only been a few great films, a handful of good films and some mediocre or bad ones. Out of the films I have watched, 27 of them I rated a 6/10 or less.
groundhogs getting brazen. time to smoke the bastards out.
Quite a few did/will come from India, though. Indian cinema has been slowly but steadily trumping Hollywood for the last 20 years. Malayalam cinema in particular had quite a boom in the past 10 or so years and yet I don't see anybody talking about it here. When it comes to action/adventure/arthouse Indian cinema left Hollywood so far in the back that it's embarrassing.
