The Shoutbox
Oppenheimer leads with 13 nominations, Poor Things got 11 and Killers of the Flower Moon got 10. Barbie underperforms as I predicted and gets 8 nominations.

This what inevitably happens when they push the number of nominations for the best film of the year all the way up to ten. I still think five is right number for the category.
Kind of surprised on the Robbie snub. She did very well I thought, but that's called the Academy. Suppose I should see Nyad.
Gerwig misses director!
Margot Robbie snubbed! I called it!
Annette Bening makes it in!
Robot Dreams gets nominated for animated feature!
They snubbed all the documentaries I liked!

I like her as an actor and her performance was pretty good, but nothing special or awards worthy, in my opinion.
