True. 10 hours? Quite the session! yeah. I am taking a break from FF, playing a little Shadow of the Colossus. The art direction is pretty tight. Same cats that did Iko did it...
Of course we didn't play the entire thing. We played about 10 hours and I picked up enough. I love FF7. It's all a matter of getting back into the game. Once you do it, you're pretty much hooked.

I doubt you picked up on much, if any, of the story in one small sitting. I still don't see how you can sit through the tedium of VII at this point. The gameplay is all sorts of beat at this point.

I played it at a friend's house a few weeks ago. It is just as good as 7, I prefer 7 however. It's not that it's bad, I'm just not interested.

With the exception of FF7, I'm not interested in FF games anymore.
I had to take a break from it, oh, 90+ hours in or so... Got a bit burnt out on it... It's really massive. Also, it starts off a bit slow, so be patient for the first few missions etc. Once you start getting into gambits, it really gets addictive...
I got Final Fantasy XII today but i'm too scared to play it because i know it will eat up my life till i complete it.
