It's interesting to see how these particular films had such different actors in consideration for his roles upon their initial conception, like Lance Henriksen as the Terminator or Richard Dreyfuss as Douglas Quaid. On the flip side, you have Die Hard almost ending up as a Commando sequel at one point.

We have...a Total Recall film...without him, and [it was] terrible.
You take that back!

We have both a Total Recall film and a Terminator film without him, and they are both terrible.

What's the matter, the CIA got you pushing too many pencils?
Very funny. I meant like the actual originals from 1984/1990 where everything's exactly the same except Arnold isn't there.

For me, it varies depending on whether you judge them as a whole or simply as Arnold vehicles. Technically, you could say that The Long Goodbye is the best movie he's ever been in even though he's just an extra (I believe Holden Pike made that exact argument, though he did pick Conan the Barbarian when talking about Arnold's starring roles).

But anybody that thinks True Lies isn't Arnold's best movie is clearly a crazy person. Like insane.

You could make it like the The Royal Rumble.

First one in... Kinison
How much fun would it be to lock Rick James, Tom Arnold, and Russell Brand in a room with a big pile...

And sell tickets with the proceeds going to charity.

In his defense, he is probably a big Tom Arnold fan.
