The Shoutbox
People also use them to prevent eavesdropping.
Dohm is just a fan. There are two rings that rotate to change the frequency of the noise. But yeah, it’s just a constant steady sound. I use mine to block out road noise.
Then again, snoring and rain are not constant, which makes them annoying. My tinnitus is fine because it's constant. If the ocean waves were constant and never had a moment of silence, they could be bearable, I guess.

what brand? i got a Dohm in every room with a bed. sleeping sucks when i travel, tho.
I can't fall asleep when I hear a sound like snoring or rain hitting roof windows. I'm quite sure I wouldn't like ocean sounds either.
My power strip just died on me so I plugged in another one and decided to test the old one one last time before throwing it away. I plugged it into a socket in another room and it seems to be working. WTF

yup, definitely the latter.
but not everyone is as self-aware as me. or maybe it was all that bullshit i read in college. and it just broke my ability to care.
anytime i’ve been to therapy i solved my own problem right then and there. that’s when i realized the internet is cheaper
there’s absolutely no shame in therapy. but a person’s gotta eat, and there’s no food in therapy.

how’s therapy?
I don't attend therapy, but apparently, therapy is good for you even if you don't have any pressing problems. Like, no shame in it, and all.
