Bout to get blasted by a hurricane. May not be online for a while
I've been playing Shadow of Mordor exclusively for the last week and I imagine I have many more weeks to go at the rate I'm deciding to advance the story.
Thanks to rainouts, my last softball game could come literally the day before Dishonored 2 comes out. Nice timing! That'll ease the end-of-season melancholy a bit.
And I feel it prudent to mention that when I came into the store to return them I started the conversation by saying "I understand if you're not able to return these but here is why I am not happy." I spoke in a self-defeating manner and would have had no problem if they had said no. But...they didn't, which just makes me an even happier repeat customer.
The sandpaper thing didn't show up until like the fifth or sixth wash, and it wasn't a big deal since I was wearing it over tshirts. Then I wore it as a baselayer and thought I was gunna die, so it had been hanging in my closet for the last few years. I have another fleece from the same year and it's still buttery soft, so I honestly do think the one I returned was faulty.
You wore it for six years even though it felt like sandpaper? Or you never wore it and didn't get around to returning it?
Darn Tough socks live up to their name: they show little signs of aging and I abuse the hell out of them.
The inside of the fleece felt like sandpaper, and the socks had started to wear through in certain spots. I wouldn't have bothered returning the socks except I have a pair of Darn Tough socks that were just as old and got even more use than EB's.
Were they faulty?
I returned a fleece pullover that was 6 years old and 3 pairs of socks to Eddie Bauer yesterday. The woman running the transaction seemed miffed about it until she looked up my rewards membership and saw that I actually do spend money in their store: she acted a little nicer afterwards.
