The mysterious figures your talking about will be explained next week. As for the beasty, don't look up what it is. Honestly you'll regret it. Ive seen the whole series as i downloaded it from the US whilst writing my disertation at the beginning of this year. It gets UBER good. The most fun thing about Lost is the anticipation of whats coming next. Don't expect full explanations for everythying though, only some of the questions are answered this series, i expect they'll answer the rest in series two. The only hint as to what the beasty thing is, is to LISTEN to what it sounds like. That is all i will say.

On the news they said that the whole of New Orleans is being evacuated so I think she won't be able to work until the hurricane has blown over.
