Once the season really starts to get going, it can't be stopped. The last two episodes of Season 1 are amazingly intense and emotional.
Not that those are the only two good episodes of Season 1, but keep watching and you'll see what I'm talking about. The over arching mystery becomes so much more than just Lilly Kane's murder and starts to involve run away parents, incest, rape, extortion and all kinds of other good stuff.

It is sort of twin peak's like, but then again not. It has a main character who is in the show who is dead and you get to know her through flashback etc. So in that aspect it is like Twin Peaks, as well as some of the eerie lighting and compositions they use. I will also say the girl who plays Veronica (Kristen Bell) is quite good and I like her character, and she is easy on the eyes, as well... The show seems to be well written so far, even if a couple of the episodic mysteries have been a bit trite. Still, It does seem better than most of the crap on TV, so maybe give disc one a whirl if you have a DVD service.
It doesn't sound fantastic. What i read seems Twin Peaksy. Not sold on it yet.
I have disc two of Veronica Mars coming, but I have yet to see what all the fuss is about.... Good, so far, but not great.

Veronica Mars is hands down the greatest show on TV right now. You absolutely have to start from season 1 though, but season 2 is shaping up amazingly. Last night's episode was awesome.
