The Shoutbox
I doubt it, how many MoFos have seen an Elvis movie? I just got through watching all 33 of his films. Elvis was an amazing singer who poured his soul into his songs...but many of the songs in his movies were forgettable. Exceptions of course! One of my favorite Elvis songs is from King Creole, Trouble.
I wonder if any Elvis movies will make the musicals countdown?

That's a good one, I just watched that a few weeks ago. It's one of my favorite Elvis movies, maybe not his best movie but one that I liked as it was a fun watch and Shelley Fabares was a peach too.

I believe ya!
This is also true, I promise. While I was watching Beach Party I was thinking this is a neat and happy movie and I bet Allaby would like it.

No, no joke. I really did watch it on May 21st. Check my Letterboxd diary for evidence:

Beach Party (1963) it was the first of the teen beach movies that American Pictures International made, starting a 'micro genre'...and I just watched it on Friday.
