Romulus is to the Alien franchise as Force Awakens was to SW... The technical side is well-done, the production looks like they spared no expense, but artistically it has no raison d'etre. And yes, some folks may still enjoy it :shrug:[/quote]

I read a review saying it’s got a focus on [spoilers] the ‘ickiness’ of sex[/spoilers] (do spoiler tags work in the Shoutbox? I’m about to find out), and that sounds curious, but also I’ve got a genuinely awful aftertaste tonight and want to watch something violent. But of course, it’s hard to expect much from any franchise these days. I definitely haven’t seen all the ‘Alien’ movies, let alone in the correct order.[/quote]
