I can totally relate! Every so often, I start thinking very seriously about joining the Foreign Legion

i talked to some of my coworkers about their experiences in the military. and, of course, they tell you about all the shit during basic. and i was like "what does it say about me that hearing all that makes me wanna do it even more"?

Andor went to new planets, with a cast comprised of mostly unknowns, save for Skarsgard and the waif girl from Game of Thrones. It focused on down in the trenches, grass roots resistance, highlighting the very beginnings of the rebellion, while respecting and enhancing the Star Wars mythology.
The Acolyte, while also going to at least some new locations, was clearly centered around destroying established Star Wars mythology, sullying the idea of the Jedi, and pushing post-modern ideology. I guess there was at least a decent sized audience for that, but I would never count myself among them.
Looks like the chips fell as they should, as season 2 of Andor is on its way and season 2 of The Acolyte...is not.
And for the record, I did give The Acolyte a chance, watching several episodes. It just wasn't for me.

I gave it its season run. IMO, it got no better. wow, I just noticed McClane's gif hand, lol. Anyways, I loved the idea of it, and the trailer was pretty inspiring. I am very excited for Andor still.
