My rating scale needs rethinking, too. I'm quite content with my current one, though. It's not perfect but it's a golden mean between usability and general idea of what I liked, even though it sometimes makes it look like I liked literally everything. Anyway, like Yoda said, ratings are performatory and I don't really have anyboy to perform anything for, so I don't care that much anymore.
