What? You can see Holds?

Are you M Night Shylamamalamam?
Hey, Holds, have you had an oppurtunity to see Apocalypto yet?
But what if the movie pisses me off so much i ask him aggressive questions? I couldn't live with that. It might make him crease his forehead so much his ponytail become an offensive weapon.

There's issues to consider here
Forget about the movie! Go there and see Terry!
Mmm, i think you've both touched on what i find intriguing about this prog: How 'human' are the cylons.

(I'm sure OG and Seds have fiendish future knowledge of the answer, so i won't ask too loudly )

But on an entirely different matter...

Terry Gilliam is doing some Q&A at a screening of Tideland at my local cinema. And i really should go. But isn't the film supposed to be a bit hit and miss? Is it worth my shiny coppers to go and see the great lunatic? Coz the film has really been dissed.

What says MoFo?
but is it a lie Aus? even though i'm pretty sure it is, i'm not ruling anything out, remember, some of them are programmed to think and act like humans. plus, doesn't the jelousy of one cylon towards another indicate .."something" other than circuts and a bunch of wires? it could be all programmed, but it also doesn't have to be....

and, about your question, now you're just confusing me too! i figure all colonies were wiped out, the cylons have superior weaponry and can easily get arround the colonies and shoot everyone in sight no? right now the survivors are somewhere in outer space no? far away from Caprica and the other colonies...wait, why do they call them colonies...Caprica shouldn't be a colony right? it's like the mother world...or something....*is confusing himself* see, now look what you've done...
P.S. Adi ... okay, so far, two Loebens have died. But cheer up -- there are probably LOTS more where they came from!
Stupid BSG question #27: The Cylons overtook Caprica and wiped out pretty much everyone but the 47K on the escaped ships. But, I just watched the epi where the 12 colonies nominate a VP, and my main obvious question is: Did any of the OTHER colonies succumb this way? Was it just Caprica? (And if so, why don't all those humans just go to other colonies?)

Can you tell I must have missed something early on and now am paying the price by asking dumb questions??
LOL, adi. I guess I bring my "biblical creation" perspective into this and just don't equate consciousness with soul. I have a hard time taking anything a confirmed liar says seriously. Plus, all that talk about higher powers could have been programmed into them because they know HUMANS are obsessed with higher powers.

Same with the desperate look in his eyes. Could be programmed in.

If you want compelling good guy-bad guy confusion, I'd opt for Boomer on Caprica and Number 6 on Caprica upset that she hasn't felt passion or love like the Caprica Boomer seems to be feeling. THOSE two Cylons and their conflicting "emotions" are much more compelling to me, and fascinating. Maybe I just didn't trust Loeben because, well, the first one was so sneaky. And because Loeben's whispering that lie in Roslin's ear really made me ill.

Two more epis down today. Another disc arrives Tuesday and I have only one more left on this disc to hold me till then...
well the fact that he was lying about one thing didn't make his arguments less compeling. it makes you think doesn't it, if a "toaster" has developed consciousness, does it have a soul? if so, what makes it so different from a human? plus, the fact that they're so obsessed with a higher power ( not just Loeben, but that blonde chick too ) humanizes them a great deal don't you think? and makes the whole good-guys bad-guys division less clear cut....well in my eyes anyways...especially after seeing the rather desperate look in Loeben's eyes at the end....( ok, might have a totally biased gay agenda here, LOEBEN WAS HOT AND SHOULDN'T HAVE DIED DAMN IT! )
blib ... LOL!

My youngest and I put our tree up hours after I finished NaNo, as a reward. (She's 13, and so is a lot of help, actually.) Never usually put it up that early, but the weather was nice and we were in celebration mode.
