I'm with Holds. I wouldn't go for free, much less pay to see anything Harry Potter related.
The 60GB is cheaper, that's a price cut.
It's not a price drop any way you cut it, least of all the most important way: cheapest base price. You still cannot buy a PS3 for less than $500. Having a cheaper lower-end version is much more important than simply giving that lower-end version more disk space.

Anyway, it's certainly an improvement, and the free movie offer sounds great. I'm simply remarking that if Sony executives think a lack of disk space is behind the PS3's lackluster sales, they're fooling themselves.
Yoda: You can buy the same PS3 that I did for 100 bucks less, that's a price drop no matter how you cut it. Besides, don't forget the 5 free Blu-Ray movies.
Amazing finish to Stage 3 today.
As for Holden: so true. I think he has a mathematical formula worked out: If X number of the masses will like Y movie, then I will boast about ripping up free tickets.
"my lady friend"? Well, I suppose that's much better than calling her "the ol' ball and chain" or "my old lady."
LOL, Yoda. So true. And you're lucky to be going to the midnight showing where the REALLY little kids won't be. When I go, it'll be most likely a matinee situation -- bad timing if you're trying to avoid little kids you aren't related to.
Anyway, I'll be seeing it with my lady friend and a handful of kids. I'm thinking the latter part will enhance the experience a bit.
Nah. Holden would rather not like the things that lots of other people like, if he can at all help it. Just a pity he apparently didn't know anyone else who would have liked it.
Don't you just want to smack Holden sometimes?

Elitist snob.

(But I meant that as a compliment in your case, of course.)
