I haven't been around much lately due to some family medical issues, but also because of some major computer problems - still don't know if it's a hardware issue or a virus, but have made some progress today using the Norton Power Erasure tool. Unfortunately my computer has been telling me it cannot locate a "boot device" to start it. Yet when I unplug it for a few hours I've been able to regain the desktop after a few tries (but many times it will soon crash when trying to open windows).
Hopefully I'll find my way back here on the next restart!
