Apparently it's some kind of around-the-clock staple in the States but here I've only ever noticed it on TV once a few years ago, watched it and thought it was...not good, to put it mildly. Seems like the kind of thing you have to grow up with.
Speaking of Christmas avatars. Snake's eye patch is screaming for holiday cheer. A little garland, some tinsel, a string of lights.

Really compliment his cheery disposition.
I consider Home Alone a Christmas movie. Any argument from Die Hard "people" will be shot with their own gun in that standoff

Big Negative. There are plenty of bad genres, but the christmas ones are almost always passable at least.
Speak for yourself. Seems like every time Christmas rolls around I make a stab at going through at least a couple of the genre's staples and finding them extremely wanting, whether it be Scrooged or A Christmas Story or Bad Santa or Christmas Vacation. I've still got a few others lined up for this year because 'tis the season and all that but I've long since learned to temper my expectations.

Rodent is the man! Good work on Xmax avatars!
So now I want to discuss the finer points of Yoda’s avatar: is he holding that box and ornament or is his mind?
my avatar is so proffesionally done
Think flashing lights on an ugly Christmas sweater. So ugly you just....can't look away!
Yoda's avatar looks like Christmas threw up on him. Just sayin'
